Watched it last night. I had no idea of that problem. I own a timeshare in Spain but never had such problems with accruing costs and overcharging. Maintenance is a problem but it never got out of hand pricewise. The only real problem that I know of is that the law regarding timeshare ownership did change in Spain a few years back and as a result you cant sell the timeshare anymore. If you want to get rid of it you can only give up on it and transfer the title to the company for nothing.
