John Cleese + Tina Turner (359 views, 11 replies)
Anything by any member of the Python troop is always satirical and irreverent. They were originally highly frowned upon by their own countrymen. They were true liberators of the "properness" of society, preferring to poke and prod the bear of what we might now call "political correctness" to show that we are all equals and anyone using words to otherwise define anyone for any reason is the problem. They actually meant to offend those who are indeed racists and hide behind the very words they have created to use as weapons and as separators. Cleese only did this type of comedy. "Fawlty Towers" in another such example. I've met several members on their travels to my country. They are literally disgusted at the terms most people throw around these days. They are right to be. Anyone with any sense would realise that most of the terms people use today are as foul as they ever have been and make speaking to anyone [who predominantly uses labels and acronyms] like verbal gymnastics for the passive aggressive.
