The very first one was the best of all of them. Exciting; well developed characters that the audience could relate to; a story that was more than just about "treasure"; complex over-lapping relationships; and good vs evil.
Harrison Ford was really good as Indiana, but I'm not so sure that seeing a whole bunch of retro-ageing CGI and new, forced relationships with lost relatives is a great idea.
This is a trend that's being used for running out of original ideas.
I hope it will be surprising and better than all the others (Ghostbusters, Halloween, etc.).
