@mrkim56 Hmmm ... I think the Presidential race is a bit like the Eurovision Song contest. I have no understanding of who votes for the winner as my favourite will end up close to the last place in the race BUT I always choose the best entry.
I think in Spain it is admirable to be everything on her list (although combat veterans are a bit hard to come by in politics here, as we haven't been involved in a war for a while) especially Progressive, Feminist and Environmentalist which conincide with our new Socialist government (I don't think you would be too happy about it Kim either).
Looks, gender or coolness are obviously not pre-requisites for the job as the current holder of the office is lacking in two of the three departments ... but credit where credit is due, he does seem to be a red blooded old male for sure.

Anyone trying to justify that kinda talk need psychiatric help. It's one thing to say "I think My son is handsome" or "My daughter is attractive and I worry about how she may be sexualized by others", and another to announce to the world that you would screw them if you didn't share DNA. The fact that kind of thing even crosses a parents mind is disturbing. But it's no surprise there are folk here down-playing it.

I'm sure that people who advocate sex with children has used that "people do have SEX" defense before. In fact, I've read that that is a common defense strategy with abusers.

I don't look at my child with an idea of what he looks like sexually.
If you are talking about being attractive, of course ALL parents would believe their child is attractive.

Do you have sex with strangers..or people in your family? Your children grow up. If you see them as two years old all of their lives, you have a mental problem. If you can't look at your son or daughter, and realize that they are sexual animals...you are afraid to let them grow up. You are afraid of reality. If you DON'T realize that they are attractive ...you can not help them develope skills to cope with sexual aggression. Youir children will grow up and be abused by the world.

Recognizing sexual identity and accepting the inevitability of sexual conduct of the child with his/her peers is one thing. Disassociating from the familial bond to recognize and identify personal sexual attraction for your child, is totally another and is incest. Well, we saw two nights of Democratic candidates for President. Is everyone as underwhelmed as I am? It's almost like Trump PICKED those he would run against.
