Not exactly a new idea. This surfaced for the first time 6-7 years ago. The idea is to process your body so something else grows from it. Life turning into life, so to speak. Its a nice idea but I would never pick any fruits from that tree

I cant disagree with you on the derivatives. Difference is that you dont know about them, while in the case of the compost, you know exactly where it went and in which tree.
