Dear Nick, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas celebration with your family and loved ones. It is Christmas Eve here and Santa's reindeer are already in their traces. My daughter has been putting the new trampoline together while I spent most of day before yesterday at the pool while she wrapped, yesterday was off to see Santa and the whole of today I at the skate park. Poor girl is still working the trampoline out there in the dark. Have my grandaughter and great grandaughter coming tomorrow so it will be quite an occasion.

I hope your Thanksgiving is every bit as wonderful as that which you wish for others. -GC @saxon901 I dont understand Outsider, you live in the United States, I'm the outsider Canadian Thanksgiving is a month before the American one. @แฉแแฐแฎแฎK You need to look a lot further south, to the Antipodes, in fact, to find me. -GC Modern Impressionistic Artist................................โฆ Leonid Afremov

We had a very busy Sunday, up at 0530 to be at the pool by 0800 for warm-up and one race, drove to the birthday party, back to the competition for another four races, some lunch swam in the relay and home for tea time. We came home with two medals. Everyone was asleep before 2100! Then up for Monday training at 0615. -GC

Hide 1 reply... @แฉแแฐแฎแฎK Thanks for the thought but no gentle April showers and flowers in May heralding the end of Spring. Here in the West, She leaves in a temper. Late October through November is cyclone season, some days really cold, very stormy, with torrential rains, high winds and flooding. Rescued a little unfledged honeyeater blown out of its nest on Wednesday night. Mother came looking next day so we put in a hollow in one of our trees and she is looking after it. That makes four birds we've found in the last five years. Our Raven from last year still visits. Last week of rehearsals this week, we are knee-deep in cardboard, glue, Papier-mรขchรฉ and paint before first and final performances next weekend. Then we start on the School Presentations. I believe we are a shepherd again this year. Another weekend looms, hope it's a good one for you and you're intending to do something you enjoy. ... Hide 1 reply... @---BOX--- Promise I'll check it out. Off to hospital for a small procedure then swim training, won't be home 'til late and may be TorT'ing if the rain clears up. So tomorrow. Looks good. -GC |
