On the first day of first grade, I stood by the front door with butterflies in my stomach. I voiced my biggest concern to my mother: “How will I make friends?” Crouching in front of me, she handed me advice I carry with me to this day: “Be Switzerland.” Be friends with everyone. Treat everyone equally and fairly. For all of my 20 years, I have lived by these words. Soon I will graduate and become a part of the real world. And on that first day, nervously facing new responsibilities, I know I will whisper two words to myself: “Be Switzerland.”

@ᗩᖇᗰᕮᕮK I thought that becoming a mother was the greatest joy of my life when I held my first baby in my arms. I was wrong. As the years passed and others were born there was more joy to come sharing in their every little triumph. Then my first grandchild was born and I experienced something more wonderful than I could have imagined. Just two weeks ago I held my first great grandchild, a dear little girl. I have found that in becoming a mother that despite the frustrations and hard times, I have tapped into a limitless wellspring of joy, Just helping my grandson prepare for Mothers's day has made it more special for me too.

@saxon901 I have two boys of my own well two men know unfortunately, there mother walked out on us all when they were just 5 and 7 so I was there mom and dad....I don't have any grandchildren yet there both still in university, but can not wait....Loved every minute raising my kids....Be well my friend...God Bless all your kids.
