TRCIII

Statistically speaking, my status is "probably not here". Although I'll show to be here. Because, you know, I don't log out like I should. But sometimes I really AM here, just ignoring you. Not usually, but sometimes. So, it's all a crap shoot, really.

Airplane-Engine 1939 Plymouth Pickup is Radically Radial....Ready for takeoff
The 1939 Plymouth pickup, Its pockmarked, raw-steel body is dotted with rivets, and rising out of the open engine bay is a halo of finned cylinders—an airplane radial engine shoved back against the firewall. The joke’s on you, though, if you think it’s all for show. When Gary starts it up, there’s a wheeze and then a rat-a-tat-tat in the bare-metal engine bay. Smoke billows around the Plymouth and it disappears before you can comprehend what you’re looking at.

The transmission may think everything is copacetic, but inside and out, the truck thinks it’s a plane. Pitot tubes and aircraft lights dot the exterior, and in the interior, leather aircraft seats face dual steering yokes and an array of gauges intended to soar above the clouds.

🎥 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙢........................................ ............. 𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝘽𝙚 𝙖 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤
Money doesn’t solve all problems. Shocking, I know. In the short film Don’t Be A Hero, belittled and lonely Lizzy Jo (Missi Pyle) takes out her frustrations on the hand the world has dealt her by robbing banks. Because hell, everybody needs a hobby.

Her only excitement is hers and hers alone… the thrill of robbing banks. She doesn’t even do it for the money. She does it for the control and charge she gets from the act itself so she can forget about her dead-end life for even ten minutes of time....It’s tragic and uplifting, all at once.

@Bread&Circuses Absolutely. But you need three more of them, so you can slide them in to the ends of the Ark of the Covenant, and carry it around with you when you need to talk to God.
Important safety tip: don't open it.
:)
Seriously, no idea. It twigged some sort of memory, like I might have seen one before, so I thought it could be from an old military comm device, but I did the research, and I can't find anything that resembles it.
Then I thought a component of a Tesla wireless electricity generator, but nope, not that either.
Are the pipes hollow? Are there any markings on the box? Do those bottom pieces seem to screw on to something?
In any case, if you ever find out, please let me know. Got my curiosity up.

@TRCIII I did find out that her father worked at Ferry Aviation
so it may be aircraft related.
Perhaps bearing seeking or pressure detecting device?

@Bread&Circuses They almost look like a set of motorcycle front forks, is it possible these are part of an aircraft landing strut assembly?

@Lurkio As good a guess as any I've seen, to this point. It looks "familiar" like I should know what they are, but every theory I've had didn't pan out when I went hunting on the net. Last I read, he says the mystery is still unsolved, and he's shown it to bunches of folks.
Anything important enough to have a custom-built box to carry it around in, though...
