@TX2Guns Our favorite breed... Doxies... Are favorite dog was a Chi-Weenie-Rat. She and her puppies had mostly a Doxie look with long nose & ears with long bodies.

Love the Doxies! I also love the Chi's..currently we "share" our home with what we call the 3 amigos..Red Doxie: Ginger (aka Queen Bee), Applehead Chi named Tripod (aka "The Boss") and my baby, a 9 month old Chi-Weenie named Bruiser.

He is my offcial writing partner and movie wingman..he assumes his position beside me in his "snuggle spot" between me and the recliner and goes comatose until I get up. LOL smiley

@TX2Guns Our Chi-Weenie-Rats loved being couch potatos and we're the most loyal and loving of any dogs we ever owned. My buddy was named Jewel or Jewly as we called her. We use to take nightly walks exploring the countryside in Austin for hours. Her baby that we kept was Sausage. Sauce was a little more chi looking than her mom. Black & Tan smooth coats.. They had a dash of Rat Terrier in them but looked like small Doxies.
I need to post a pic now also✝

@PTSD✞ Loyal and Loving..Yep, that is a Chi-Weenie! Bruiser, even after being Fixed is a very loyal watch dog and can be Aggressive with strangers..he is all about Family!!

Bruiser has what I call the "classic" Black and Tan Markings. His Mother was a Beautiful AKC Reg Coal Black Doxie and his Father was a Tan Long Haired Chi. When he was a Pup I thought he was gonna have more of a Chi looks but now I can see his head shape is ALL Chi but his body is all Doxie!
