✰The Tmc Dumont is a concept art bike built and designed by Tarso Marques who describes it as a ‘hubless motorcycle with an airplane engine’.............❝TᗯISTᕮᗪ SᕼIᖴTᕮᖇ❞

✰TMC DUMONT is equipped with a 300 hp Rolls-Royce Continental V6 engine from a 1960s aircraft and fully leaked 36 inch wheels. I have no idea if it can actually turn and riders should be cautious as that back wheel is frighteningly close! It’s impractical, it’s ambitious, and I think it’s awesome to see a crazy concept brought to life and actually ridden.

Its amazing that so many cords are still in beautiful running condition these days, especially the 812 with its complicate to mend straight eight alloy engine. For an short lived personal car company the name still holds a huge fan base, so much for characters of cars that do not exist in present day automobiles.

★Priced around US$3,000, it was competitive with Cadillac, Marmon, Lincoln, Packard, Franklin, and Stutz,the 1930 Chrysler copied several styling elements. It could not outrun the Great Depression, and by 1932, it was discontinued, with just 4,400 sold.

★In 1929 the Cord L-29 debuted. It was an innovative and gorgeous car...The L-29 was powered by a 301 cubic inch Lycoming straight eight.

★The rally began on August 5th starting in London, passing through Domaine De Chantilly in France where a horse did a dance, Sforza Castle in Milan, Italy and heading to Bologna to fly on Gumball air (A Malaysian Airlines airplane fully rented for Gumballers by the organizers of Gumball 3000 which stopped in Kazakhstan to refuel) to head to Osaka, Japan, some of the cars are also being flown over to Japan. In Japan they will land in Osaka and will go to Kyoto, Nanao and will end in Tokyo were the Gumball finale party will take place.
