In the center, in the dark, do you see a night sky filled with stars? Do you see a sunset to the left? Clouds all around? Do you see the central band of our Milky Way Galaxy running down the middle? Do you see the ruins of an abandoned outpost on a hill? (The outpost is on Askold Island, Russia.) Do you see a photographer with a headlamp contemplating surreal surroundings? (The image is a panorama of 38 images taken last month and compiled into a Little Planet projection.) Do you see a rugged path lined with steps? Or do you see the eye of a dragon?

@Bread&Circuses smiley smiley smiley smiley WOWWWWW!!!!!!!!! This is like a Salvador Dali painting. Every time you look at it you discover something different. My first view was the eye of the dragon, without having read anything from the description. On the rest, I still have to look at it a few more times with a fresh eye. This is an amazing wallpaper. Any idea where one can get this at really huge dimensions?

The 1960 Porsche 356 RSR From *Emory Motorsports
Rod Emory is a legend in the Porsche game, so when he's got a new build, you know it's going to be worthy of an in-depth look. His 356 RSR is no exception to the rule

Combining a 1960 Porsche 356B T5 with a 1990 Porsche 964 C2 is no easy task. For one, the wheelbases are different. But for Emory Motorsports, the challenge was minimal considering the team has experience imitating Dr. Frankenstein. Together, the two are now the 1960 Porsche 356 RSR, a hot rod Porsche with menacing looks and insane performance.

The car is an exquisite example of craftsmanship. The nose and tail bodywork, aluminum deck lid, and one-piece aluminum hood are all hand-formed with the deck lid featuring custom stainless hinges. Added features include the added louvers, stainless steel mesh grille, and intercooler inserts in the steel section of the rear fenders. The rocker panels are modified Porsche 911 pieces while the side and quarter windows are Plexiglass.

@ᗩᖇᗰᕮᕮK Ahhh a Wiesmann !!!! A neighbour of mine in Koln had one in black. It is by far one of the most beautiful cars out there. An eye stopper. Everything and MG was dreaming to be. I never liked the instrument panel though.....but then again, I doubt I would be looking at the instruments smiley

@Bread&Circuses Beautiful !!!!

Although in the description there is a funny sentence "In the foreground on the left is Locatelli Hut, a refuge for tired hikers as it is located over an hour from nearest parking lot"

One hour from the parking lot? I swear those Italians have no stamina at all smiley smiley

@JudgeDredd The first jury on which I served one guy was twice as old as I was, the rest were three times.
They selected me foreman. The only other settled after one day of court. Don't remember why now, that is if I ever knew. Both cases civil court.

The 1920's Radio Flyer Wagon

A 16-year-old Italian boy named Antonio Pasin was one of the millions who immigrated to America from Europe at the start of the 20th century. A skilled carpenter, Pasin headed to Chicago and began building little red wagons out of stamped metal. By 1923, he had saved enough money to create the Liberty Coaster Company, and he began mass-producing the wagon for just under $3. He named it the Radio Flyer in homage to two of his favorite inventions of the time, the radio and the airplane.

Continued Growth After the War
At home, Radio Steel’s war efforts sparked newfound confidence in their line of products. Advertisements began to highlight the classic strength, durability, and dependability of the Radio Line wagons. A new bearing for the wheels, called -Congo- bearings — guaranteed for 1000 miles of smooth, quiet riding – gained special attention for its longevity.
