I too have had problems since that Thursday. It's not just you. I find the vidlox links are more reliable.. Also any links that dont have cookiemonster labled.. Best of luck to all of us lol.. And dont worry there are always new steaming providers every few months or so.. Sure hope this makes sense haha

You'll probably have to find a new favorite hoster.
VeryStream has has frozen their stats, shut down some of their servers, cut all support, and stopped paying uploaders.
It's Openload/Streamango all over again, so expect linkers to drop the host entirely.

@Smuff Eau Crap... already-again? Getting harder to be a good looking pirate nowadays. smiley Grrrr...
Thank you for the article Smuff. I hadn't seen anything regarding this.

It's concerning this NEWS isn't a permanent lead on @anyNEWS since its actually related to entertainment and ALL OF US? Shouldn't this be perma-pinned on our forum?

@dramucom i don't know what happen to onlystream lately. their download speed and streaming became super slow.

@vapemann Probably because they are getting hammered with users since the others were shut down. They'll need to update their servers to handle the increased traffic

@dramucom i hope vidoza maintenance will be over soon so the users will be divided into onlystream and vidoza. that 2 are the most reliable sites for now and vidcloud.

Openload and streamango are now officially dead. Streamango redirects to the ACE website and Openload simply will not load. Verystream will follow in short order I'm sure as it was operated by the same group.

Hopefully it gets fixed. Most of all the movies I was going to download use verystream and openload and streamango

Verystream has an error message that says "Service is not available" and so does Openload.

Openload doesn't work either. I see by the comments they are dead in the water, too.

When I look at the quality that remains of uploads to most video hosting websites, compared to original rip, it looks really sh*tty. Vidcloud and Vidoza have some decent compression, and Ok.ru, but ok is only good for older/classic movies. Also Vev.io is acceptable, if the source of the rip is not a re-rip. Just my 2 cents...

gounlimited is still going, and I can still download and save movies on my (limp) hard drive. Mixdrop still allows downloading movie data.....

If you prefer to download rather than stream, you can DL from *any* hosting-site (whether they have a download link or not) by capturing the actual *direct-link* (not to be confused with the links that appear on a movie site). You can do this without anything special, just regular end-user applications.

Using Firefox as an example:
* first, install Video Download Helper plugin

On any movie site:
* click on the link to a movie
* wait for it to start
* pause the movie (you don't want to stream while downloading)

In Firefox:
* click on VDH, then click on the movie-name in the dropdown.
* click on the FF download manager (blue or black arrow, depending on version).
* click on the X in the dropdown to cancel downloading.

We cancel because we want to use a faster downloader than the default browser DL manager.

Now, *right-click* on the cancelled movie-name in the download dropdown and select:
'copy download link'.

You now have the *Direct-Link* to the movie on it's host server in your clipboard.

@WAGB283 Thanks for that. I missed the download button that O'load and V'stream had.

Even with Openload and Verystream online I used the Video Download Helper plugin all the time. Mostly on other websites. Now even more. Direct links are getting harder and harder to find. Most sites these days use embedded links only. So you can not go the source hoster directly, and file a take down notice. Streaming websites are getting hit on hard...

Note that some websites require the video download helper app. Usually I just search further to use the plugin on some other website.
