I fixed junk up that I find in the trash .I find computers that don't work or does work to a degree and take them home to be fixed. All the computers in my home was fixed by me and I have never had a problem with them at all .I also fix up TVs that I find .I get them to work again, but they don't last long after that(6 months at the most). I have found a lot of vacuum cleaners that only was clod up and only needed to be cleaned out. I sale them .The ones that needs repair I fix them up and sale them once fix. Sometimes I find bicycles in the trash and take them home and fix them up or make choppers bicycles out of them .I sale them in my yard sale . If you have a fix up hobby you would like to share please do?

I don't fix things, but I do sew and I sometimes 'recycle' old clothes into something new. <br> But I really just wanted to comment to say that I wish I lived near you Greg.. you sound like you would be a very useful person to know. And also because you would probably have a use for all the stuff I throw out :)

@clarachan1355 Do you have a dressmakers dummy? If not I recommend getting one, hard to explain without actually showing, but I use my dummy (I call her Mabel) a lot for just cutting things up and pinning on her to fit them together.

@⭐️janerosity⭐️ Yes, I got a cheap one,& tried to crumple old newspapers and an old bra, stuff it,duct tape it on,and duck tape my rough measurements on the dummy--bust,waist,hips.Its a little tricky, but yer right,it helps to put stuff together, :)

Yes, that is a huge part of what I do. Old furniture refurbishing, painting. Crafting while recycling etc.

I also like to paint athletic shoes I don't really like, using fabric paint mixed with fixative.--and then seal it with clear plastic film over the shoes. It even can make them water proof, I was surprised. That's a lotta fun, then yer shoes aren't boring. hah hah. smiley
