Fact: Americans consume more than 9 pounds of pickles per person annually.
Wickles Pickles
Wickles (short for "Wickedly delicious pickles!") are a blend of dill, sweetness and spice.
Ingredients:
1 - 46 ounce store-bought jar of dill pickles
2 1/2 - cups granulated sugar
1 - small jar of jalapeno slices (do not drain)
Directions:
Drain all the pickle juice out of the pickle jar. Remove pickles and cut into 1/2 inch slices, and return them to the jar.
Remove jalapenos from their jar and add a few jalapeno slices to the pickles. Keep in mind that the more jalapeno slices you add the hotter the pickles will be.
Slowly add as much sugar to the jar as it will hold. Then pour as much of the jalapeno juice as you can get into the jar without it overflowing. Put the lid on tightly and shake.
Place the jar in the refrigerator and for the next 7 days turn the jar over once daily (i.e. the top becomes the bottom on the first day, then the next day the bottom becomes the bottom, etc.)
