Alright, here's the new one from Dr. Steven Greer and Dan Sheehan

Like the last, if you can't find it, no big deal.

I dunno what to think about this Greer guy...Considering that he charges (I looked it up) up to 2500 per person for his CE5 events.

@nonehere That's suppose to make up for his salary as an ER Doctor that he gave up, so he could investigate UFOs. Their fees are outrageous.

@nonehere Whether agreeing with him or not …, that’srly hefty hobby money regardless. Certainly weeds out curiosity seekers.

Yeah, I mean he's got a positive message, which is more than I can say for the doom-sayers. The fee ranges depending on the venue, but still at 1500 a pop I'd rather buy something I'll actually get some joy out of. After watching his other two latest I think there's only so much of him saying the same thing over and over. Then talking about himself for another hour is beyond my attention span. He's got a new one coming out this spring. It's crowd funded. smiley smiley As if his at his net worth he couldn't afford to fund the film. I guess if the fish keep biting there's no need to draw the poll from the waters.

@nonehere There is MUCH discussion about him being a fraud. The general consensus is an affirmation that he is indeed.

If we are to consider, logically, that the best con artists, scammers and grifters always come in with free this and gratis that, before hooking the big money, he fits the bill.

Personally, I think the world has a lot more things to worry about, and that this is an obvious scam to get us thinking outside and beyond of what a mess this world is in realistically.

@DontSpeak I try to remain object in my view, rather gathering information as opposed to readily trust and believe. I neither hold are argue against any religious belief.
As for statements on subject matter like this, much of it is unprovable. The fact is, beyond statements, we have nothing - no object, measurement, or recordable observation that we can present in support of any statement that is definitive in any way.
Yet it is a subject of which I am deeply curious of.
I rather think that many of the world's concerns (climate change, starvation, war, and such) will never be resolved. I think it's already too late for climate change, it's here and it's only going to get worse. Call me a pessimist, if you will.

@nonehere Skepticism is wise. Have you read the Reddit page on Steven Greer? It's interesting, to say the least. www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1...

@DontSpeak Yes, I understand that as well. One cannot disregard information. From what I'm reading, and what I've seen on his youtube channel; I think a grain of salt will do a body good.

This Dr. Greer guy is looking more and more like a charlatan with every article I read. With every statement of interaction with him from 'fans' and 'attendees' of his so called CE5 events, it's more like just another greedy guy saying and doing anything to get them dollars. But it hasn't soured my curiosity just yet. Only eliminating a source of objective information on the subject of non-human contact. Like those salesmen of old, peddling their cure-all snake oil, Greer fits the bill.

I've watched a few docs from Greer, he started out quite interesting but he gets tedious pretty quick, especially on his favourite subject - extolling himself. I just think he's a narcissistic fraud.

I also think he was the inspiration for this scene..

@SimonM Yes, he starts out interesting. I watched some of his youtube videos, most of them end in somehow he comes in to save the day, and has to console some high ranking military official whom can't seem to handle the same level of negative experiences as Greer.

@nonehere I think this was the last one of his videos I watched. I didn't watch it to the end for fear of seeing him getting an erection while talking about himself.

@SimonM smiley smiley Yeah, I don't know about the guy, honestly. I've no direct contact with him, but there's a conflicting opinion. I think I'll look for other sources on the subject, however. He does seem to be rather fond of his own reflection.

@SimonM Yeah it was that first 'in shadow' interview with George Knapp. I didn't think much of it then, but a recent re-interest in the subject has led me to believe him. After he came forward and would take people out to that close mesa to view the craft in flight. The test range went and bought up the surrounding land, to keep people further away..

@nonehere Yes there is a lot to back up his claims. I also remember him talking in 1989 about Ununpentium, or element 115, Moscovium as it is now known, which wasn't "officially discovered" until around 2003/4. He also built a jet car in 1982 that he used to drive around in, I thought that was really cool! smiley

@SimonM Yes! My man owns a jet car. I mean, if that isn't a physicist I don't know what is. I've even seen his government ID, which conforms to those that I know are indeed issued by the DOD. Yes, even back then he was talking about element 115. And the fact that Knapp went to such great lengths to confirm his ID and was met with resistance all along the way, only to run into a base phonebook in the end smiley

@nonehere I remember another way the government were trying to discredit him was over his dealings with a brothel, I think he set up their computers and a business plan or something. It was a real lame story but that was the best they could come up with. The phone book discovery was brilliant! smiley

@nonehere Hence why I gave the Reddit link. What else could demonstrate so aptly a predatorily natured narcissist?

Simply put: Reddit enables the most heinous in our culture/society to thrive, much as any other dominant social media outlets.

That was the only point in providing it.

Also, why I provided a YouTube link... to demonstrate this persons incessant demand for recognition...

Demonetised and free are in direct opposition to YouTube hits.

Not interested, to be honest. I never would have even formally acknowledged this.... person.

@DontSpeak Yeah, youtube (I think) exists to make money in the form of advertisements. And so a certain intelligence gathering company (very much a company) to watch what you do.

@nonehere Yeah but there is a problem with Lazar. Specifically the very fact that he is still alive. I think we can all agree that the intelligence apparatus often resorts to extreme solutions to protect a secret. The question that comes to mind is that if his allegations were true, why would they bother to attempt to discredit him when they could just make him disappear? This is what really bothers me. The intelligence community seems to believe that accidents are the solution to all. Proof of that is the latest clean up of the Oligarchs in Russia. They all seemed to have fallen from a window, according to the official reports. Even one that visited the hospital for a health problem, only to jump out from the hospital's third floor window....as if his house didnt have any windows to begin with smiley

@M3g4m1nd Well his renown in the field (there have been attempts made on his life) is primarily why they have 'slacked off' on actions against him, he's too far in the public eye. Instead, they've resorted to attacking those around him. Unlike Phil Schneider whom they supposedly got to early on in the late '90's, lived alone. Lazar keeps people around him. There have been federal raids on Lazar's business.
I'm not saying definitively that he's telling the truth, but there are some indications of his honesty. Also, there's no proof anywhere that an intelligence agency has caused any harm to anyone. It's all speculation and hearsay.
Furthermore, once Lazar outed himself, places like Los Alamos and even his college went to great lengths to show they had no involvement with Lazar, only to find a phonebook from Los Alamos Labs with Lazar named in it.
