I am excited Mr. Box for this book has become, in ra record turn-about time) a series that starts tomorrow, 10/13/2023. Happy Friday the 13th! Two episodes will be shown on the 13th and the rest follow weekly.
I wish I read the book first. It has been on the NYT Best Seller list for so long that copies are still expensive. I think it reminds me of when The Girl With the Tattoo came out. I thought it was a beach read and didn't bother with it until I bought a copy to see what all the brouhaha was. OMG, What a literary crime treat! It was totally worthy of staying on that list and being displayed in the front of bookstores for months!
I have a feeling Lessons in Chemistry might capture the popular imagination in the same way.

@alicefell After reading your comment here I started watching the uploaded episodes and I am completely drawn in by the story and the wonderful Brie Larson as the chemist Elizabeth Zott.
