In a huge national park,forests,when she got separated from her folks.--and she tried to survive,all thru this Monster park==while she listens to baseball game on her Walkman.--and finally realizes the evil spirit of the wilderness is stalking her.Quite a well-written narrative and story.--and quite HORRIBLE.Darn,I forgot the title!)I'll try to find out if the small novel is free online.THANKS AGAIN!
@clarachan1355 Sounds like "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" but there was no monster park. She was lost in the forest and I don't remember anything about a Walkman but she did like baseball and Tom Gordon who was a baseball player.
It's an excellent book, not very long at all. It's one of my favorite SK stories.
