@PriscillaParadox🍁 I see stickmanuk has already posted a link for the trilogy.

Should you have any problems downloading, you have it available here along with Roddy Doyle's latest.

Interesting selection, thanks Box.

But I would question one of Richard Shepherd's claims ... 23,000 autopsies? How does a person fit that in one lifetime?

@Buttless It does seems a bit excessive. Too much time on his hands?

But he wasn't the only one with such passions for cadavers. Apparently in the 1800s, modern-day autopsy was pioneered by Karl Rokitansky of Vienna, who had completed more than 30,000 autopsies and supervised about 70,000 autopsies during his career. Rokitansky was the first to examine every part of the body, with a systematic and thorough approach.

@---BOX--- In round numbers, with a 5-day week and 2 weeks holiday per year, that is around 12 every day. Could one person even write up 12 autopsy reports to the required standards in one day, let alone carve up 12 bodies too?
And don't forget time in court ..and writing books.
