We've moved links away from movie/episode pages. We want to keep movie pages clean. Tell your thoughts. So movie pages and episode pages now for general movie information without any pirated stuff. And your comments and reviews. Links table can be found on any link page under the player. So nothing really changed, just a small move.

1. We had that player for years, only for anonymous users. 2/3 of them just don't understand links section, they need a player.

2. We choose the best working link based on our algorithm.

3. We can place them back anytime. Just testing now.

Some users say that there's one more click. I disagree on this!
You don't have to return to the movie page to chose another link. So basically you've got less hustle.

So movie/show/episode pages - for general information and comments/reviews.
Links pages - for links. It can work better for us!

@Dr.Evil Anything that helps this site and improves it for users is always a good thing. I don't see why anyone would complain about an extra "click" when this is all provided free for members. All your efforts and hard work that you put into this site are always much appreciated. Especially the newer TV Show Schedule feature but also every single feature you have either added or updated since I joined, are all amazing and I have ZERO complaints. 💜💜 Thank you Dr.E ;)

@Dr.Evil All the “best working links” seem to be for clipwatching site, which to be honest I have never used and have only recently noticed appearing at the top of each link list in the last week. Problem is, all of these links show ads, some inappropriate before showing the actual show you are trying to watch. About 50% of the time, they don’t progress beyond the ad. So whilst I have no problem with the new layout of the site, I would query the best working link! For me streamango is always 100% reliable. Can we not just have the links rather than a default player with the best working link, because that isn’t the best working link for everyone.

@Andreabunnie Ditto. What is the real reason for the reformat? Is the site data mining, btw? I notice intermittently that my CPU spikes and holds frequently for no apparent reason and no background app that I'm running is responsible.

Also, that having to click "I understand now let me watch" every time you log on should not be necessary for long time users, who know the way around. Why not just have that as included in the log in function? Save time and annoyance and yet another click.

@ThomasinaPaine I was crypto mined at another site, as you know.

I certainly do not want that again!!

It's all clear.

Must be something else.

@ It dawned on me later I had written 'data mining' instead of crypto...lol & duh... The symptoms were the same as last time, sudden, unceasing spiking CPU activity which only stopped if I cut my internet connection, which was why I asked. I was watching a vid on here, only 1 link open, and CPU was suddenly and for no reason jacked to 100% and stayed there, so I had to eject from internet to stop it.

I always assumed at the other place that was what was going on in the background, and was surprised when the same thing happened on here.
Is that not a symptom of crypto mining? CPU out of control like that with NO other apps or services engaged by the user?
If not, mea culpa :)
I was just curious..not necessarily awfully concerned, just a bit annoyed it was happening again.
Thanks for clarifying that comment for me... ~gotta start going to bed earlier..heh

@ThomasinaPaine It can be one of many symptoms, but isn't a definitive in and of itself, by itself.

Generally, you should be able to see the spike being directed toward the source.

It could be the link (host) you used?

It's difficult to say. If it happens again shoot me a screen print of your task manager and the the link, if that's convenient?

:)

@Dr.Evil Different links work on different browsers and computers. THIS setup is nonsense. You will always have people who get confused, and though I appreciate your attempt to clarify things for them ... this will NOT help. If anything; you've made it all the more confusing. Better to have a comprehensive set of instructions and a better labeling on the links. I've been using the site for years and this is the worst thing you've come up with thusfar.

@Dr.Evil There is most definitely an extra click and it's before you even get to see the links available which makes it even more irritating. To our view, it looks more confusing than it did before and adds an unnecessary step. I thought it was great that it was so simple you could click on the movie/show and there were all the links to choose from. I never use the link your algorithm is choosing because they never work for me unless they are openload. Even then it's usually a broken link and I have to go to another openload link to view. The addition of the watch button is helpful, but there could still be better efficiency with the watch and follow episodes options. I'd like to be able to do all of those from the list view without having to click on the show/movie.

dosmovies.com/user/go_away/?go=....

stuff that precedes it. It just redirects me to the main twomovies page with the search bar if I don’t. But I don’t mind. The less junk in a link, the better it works. Thank you!

It's f**king pointless because you're still essentially hyperlinking to pirated streams.. Just go back, if anything this is gonna cause people to not be able to figure out, or simply get annoyed with it because you added an extra step.

1.) This site isn't big enough from what I've seen that the owner would need to do this. There's lets call it a generous 1000 thousand users online at peak hours on average from my observations. Given the necessary privacy steps, nobody's going to pay for the legal process against a site that's hyperlinking content to that audience.

2.) Again, you're hyperlinking your content and not hosting. In order to keep the core of this site, the userbase, or an attempt at growing you're shooting yourself in the foot by adding another step for the site users to go through when the end result is the same. You're still hyperlinking, you're just making it rougher for the user.

3.) If you're doing it for profit, there's better ways... ...

@Dr.Evil I call bullsh*t. I can jump on at least two other sites that I for one found on google and they're still sitting pretty with a setup like the previous one.

Countering DMCA requests isn't the way to get traffic, seems more like the way to get unwanted attention and actually get shutdown.

There's no possible way, outside of the DMCA because it's the work of search engines themselves is the site going to get great results from one.

Say one googles "Watch X movie free" it's gonna come up with about 4 or 5 pages if not even more of malware before it'll show this. (Trust me on that sh*t, I f**king did 10 years ago.) Search google for that result you're gonna get Youtube, bullsh*t news articles for traffic, or a backlink to an exploit pack before this site shows up in those results simply because it is what it is.

This is better off establishing itself as legitimate counter part to the big names (Solar, Fmovies, yaddada) people are going through word of mouth on Reddit, etc. ...

I find it to be a minor inconvenience. Everyone develops a preference over time for particular sources that tend to work well for them and/or have good video players. When the first link is not one of those sources it adds an extra click between you and the video. It's certainly not a deal breaker, and more than tolerable if there is some upside for the website.

At first I couldn't see the list of links and didn't like it at all because I use certain links by certain members and certain hosting sites due to download capability and ability. Some sites let you, some don't. Even if the site allows it, not all users do, so overtime I've learned which to shoot for first which is why the list of links are important to me. (Mobile phone) i wasn't expecting to have to scroll down from the player, so it was invisible to me. After locating it though, I think it's okay. It's literally only ONE click more than if the links were on the main movie page, so why the fuss? If it benefits the site, I say leave it as is. I'd rather an extra click to access the list of links than take any more risk of the site shutting down.

At first I thought there was something up with the site (did not see this thread), which was very upsetting. Silly me. Got three days off and some catching up on shows planned, almost went into panic mode.
And then I realised....
I don't know why but I find that certain sites will work best for me for a while, and then it will change. So I really like the idea that the first link will be the one the site has 'selected' as having the best chance to work well.
But also like that even if it takes me a while to find one that doesn't keep buffering, I don't have to keep going back to the main page to do so.
And anything that helps to keep the site safe (so that what I first thought had happened never does) is all fine by me.
For what it's worth I think TM is safer than some - I could never get on that other (now dead) site, or a few others, without using a proxy (am in the UK), but although I do use it I can actually get on TM without it.
Live long and prosper TM.

This is definitely more complicated. I guess you have to accept it, if it helps with fighting dmca, but as a design move it is more confusing. I don't think pushing the player is the way to go, more choice is always better, and seeing links right away when you go to an episode is definitely better.

I'm mostly neutral on this change. My only concern is if people start trying to game the algorithm to get one of their links to be the one used as the embed. I noticed one of my links got embedded and the # of views is really high as a result of it. Other than that, from a normal user perspective the "fake player" (the one that links to the actual links and embed) does remind me a little of the type of thing you'd find on fake sites where after you click on it they redirect/popup asking for $$$ or something. Maybe a large button or something would be better?

@Nihilus🍺 It's an incredibly EASY system.

After using it on both my mobile and my desktop, I find it better because I don't have to go back the the movie's/series' main page to get a link that streams well for me if one doesn't work out.

I'm happy with this change and feel confident that others will, too.

I'm sure if they ask, and read they'll understand, so not to worry.

On this specific topic, I perused the above exchange and I don't think I saw the comment I'd like to make.
For the TV shows, I liked the option of being able to move to the next episode right above the list of links. I'm not seeing it on the link page but I think it has moved higher on the episode page. Would it be possible to put it on the link page? That way when I catch up on a show I missed or after being away for a while, I can jump from one episode to the next without needing to go back to the episode page.

At first I was like "NO, don't choose Openload for me!" But then I saw the links further down the page and I'm OK with it now. Openloads are always 720P and that just too large of a file for me to play, it just won't buffer at all or it won't load for me at all. I have to search for links that are smaller, preferably 440P or less, 360 and 240 are my best playing links.

So, to sum up, I say if it works best for the site then I'm OK with it. And please Uploaders, remember that some of us are on older 13 inch laptops and can't stream those big files, so if you can, try to make sure everybody gets a chance to stream happily and easily.

By the way, I love the "toggle link" thing so we can see and avoid the larger files. smiley Happy day to everyone!

@Meercat I feel the same way when it comes to the size of files. Depending on what i am watching as well. When it comes to a Movie that I been looking forward to watching that also may have special effects or just stunning visuals, I want a copy that's larger so I can view it in detail. Sometimes that's not always the case and you can get the same quality with smaller sizes.

When it comes to tv shows, I can do with 350 mb or less and love when there's a 150 mb file which is common for true-crime shows that are usually uploaded by the same user who always keeps them small.

The choice to have either is what I look for and is best. When linkers/uploaders include both a large file and small.

Sometimes I will stream direct from link (openload is my choice) or just download from openload via browser. Sometimes the larger files DL faster as well.

I will have to check out this "toggle link" thanks for sharing ;) Happy Friday :)

@Meercat Downloading helps if you're having buffer issues as well. I use VLC to play my files once downloaded. Test it out sometime from Openload - it's so easy and quick. Adding the links to the embedded video page is fine, but removing them from the episode page is incredibly frustrating.

Your algorithm doesn't always choose the best source for me and the new design forces me to do an extra click to get to the list so I can do it myself.

4 clicks versus 2. Correct?

@Dr.Evil How often do people run into dead links? I almost never do. Maybe I've just been lucky, but it seems like you're creating a problem to justify your solution.

For me it used to be one click to the link I want and that worked 99% of the time.
Now it's one click for the player and a second click for the link I want, which results in an extra click 99% of the time and saves me a click just 1% of the time.

Also why are you using this new feature to convince people that this whole model is better? There's nothing preventing you from leaving the links like they were AND putting them under the embedded player. That way it would still be one click 99% of the time and only be two clicks in the worst case scenario.

You know what, no matter what you do, you are always going to have those that aren't happy and complain or tell you how you could of done it better! Some people are prized f%$k wit's.
I once owned my own business! I put out a bowl of "help yourself" minties! Some loser went and made a complaint to health & safety that I was providing minties that weren't wrapped! I thought, how can someone complain, about something that not only was a kind gesture, but it was a person's choice, whether they wanted one or not.... Hence if you didn't want one, because they weren't wrapped, don't friggen have one.
In the end I sold the business because I couldn't handle people like that anymore.
Some people have nothing better to do then complain and make other's that are providing a free service feel like sh*t, when they should be honoured.
I say, do whateva you think is best and if other's don't like it, well they can f$*k off!

Okay, I've read all I can. Personally for myself...of course I appreciate a free site, always will. As far as this topic we were 'asked' btw. I find the page more cluttered, not clean. Also, I know you can pick your own link once you click on the player, however...sometimes the link associated when I click on that to get to the list...freaks my anti virus out about malicious links on that particular link site. I know which ones to avoid due to my kasperky anti virus but I land on them at times anyway due to this change. That's what I do not care for. I will go with the flow on this one though and just deal with it but I really think the page looks awfully cluttered now that's it been changed. I have to say my vote is no, but I guess I can F off based on the previous comments. You asked, so I've put in my 1/4 cents worth. (Definitely miss the 'next episode' button.) Apparently, even after signing in, this site thinks I am a bot. I am all for trying new things and preserving the ability of enjoying free movies and television programs but this change doesn't seem to streamline anything or make it more aesthetically pleasing or user friendly, just the opposite. I appreciate this site and its admin, mods, and up-linkers do a good job, so maybe with a few more tweaks this new format will run smoother.

I don't like it, personally. First, the change was made without any explanation or warning, so I was extremely confused when I clicked to the next episode of the show I was watching, and there were no links listed, and, secondly, I prefer to select my own viewer (openload or thevideo, usually) which are not always the top players, and also prefer watching on the provider's page, not in an embedded window. I already didn't like the fact that, when I clicked on a link in the old format, it would open up a new tab, which I would then have to click a link on to open up ANOTHER new tab to actually get to the video. This new set-up just complicates things further.

Before getting all worked up I took a little while to get aquainted w/the new set up. Now, I am a person who hates change (really… I LOATH it) but after a little while I realized that it didn't make much difference to the "…quality of my viewing experience". I don't find it aesthetically pleasing but then again, I'm not planning on any kind of cyber hanky-panky w/the site bot. What I think is sad is that this site is providing great viewing for F-all and their are mis-contents that can't give the set up a chance. There are those that are saying they can't see the "list of links bellow"; well, are you running something that might be masking/blocking it (?) for the longest time I couldn't post YouTube vid.s.… after a lot of trial and error I realized it was due to my add-blocker. All I'm saying is that rather than straining at the bit and foaming at the mouth, one could try to resolve the issue oneself or politely ask for help from a group of individuals that, we should not forget, are providing us all w/an inestimable source of entertainment and who should be receiving more praise than criticism…

I picked up that the subscribe button was moved to the Links page, and that kind of makes sense, but what do I do if I want to subscribe for a movie that doesn't have any links yet? Since there are no links yet, there isn't a link to the Links page; instead there's a message saying "No video sources available for this movie yet." Since there's no Links page, there's no access to the subscribe button either.

I'm sure I'm just missing something really obvious, so can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm not a fan of the new design. Finding the links page is not intuitive. If I hadn't read this post, I would never have found it.

I also don't like that there is a default video link I have to click on first. There's only 3 hosting sites I actually trust, while others don't bother to screen their ads and have popups loaded with viruses and such. Usually my anti-virus will go nuts with threat detected messages, but there's always the potential a new one is out that wasn't on the most recent definitions update, and that worries me.

Now it feels like a game of roulette, hoping that your algorithm picked the video link from one of the hosts I trust. I'm not convinced it's worth the risk to me.

i don't like the new set up. i choose specific sites to get video. the way it is now i clicked the player twice and got no video both times. i also like the fact that i know who linked the video and the type ie blue ray or dvd rip etc. please let us choose who and how we get the video from. as to a table, this was not available. to me this is leave this site for another. sorry but i really like it as it was.

ok i found the links table. why not have the icon to access the links table on the main page. do we really need a player or can we bypast this altogether. i may not completely understand the legalities around this search engine nonsense but i did find it difficult to locate the links table and i have a phd. once i was directed to the first selection i did not look any further. my feeling is that if u want to keep ur main page simple avoid the player and just add a links icon. let us continue to select from the list as always. if u need the player for some reason u could add an icon for this and let ur algorithm do its job. but i can live with it now as before it was not acceptable. i just needed to scroll down the page but really the two items don't mix well to me. that's all i am going to say on the subject. thanks nicole

sorry but why would we only want embedded videos? to me they are useless. i like to download sometimes and i can't then. or is this the point. is it not the individual who takes the risk when downloading re viruses and copyrighted materials. most cases if it is for individual use only then copyright does not really apply. yes they will say otherwise but when it comes down to breaking the law, u must make money selling a video that does not belong to u. that is how my uncle explained it to me some years back. he is a supreme court judge here in canada. besides they have larger fish to fry over some individuals who "share" videos and keeps a copy for personal use. i think that someone is trying to justify their job and is issuing warnings they have no legal claim to. im probably off base here but i could be right. now i will not say another word on this. goodnight

@nbstokes The links aren't embedded. That's an option, if it is desired. :)

If you click the link in the main box it will open a new tab and take you directly to the link, also you have to CLICK HERE to enable the embedding (for people who want it).

Weird recent effect on laptop. When I fast scroll up or down I see a full black screen zip in and out of view as I scroll.
Never saw that before this new format. What's with that?

I'm sometimes afraid to click large 'Play' buttons because many sites load them with pop up triggers. I'd imagine other users may also have similar concerns.

However, you can always check the stats to see if the change have impacted click-throughs.

Trying to hide the links behind a video player that screams click me to install a virus is never a good idea, one it will cut off any new traffic from finding links and two it makes the site look shady as f**k.

@Dr.Evil I concede my point, I forget people are mostly stupid and will click anything that looks like a video hence the reason the scammer sites actually are able to scam so many people. I'm sure most of your users don't even use ad blockers/script blockers and have PC invested with virus as well. (not saying this site is a scammer site)

Hismiley It's said that a picture is worth a thousand words… So here's a picture & a few words:

The mini player only takes you to a link page rather than just one link.

When you click on the mini player it takes you to a page for the first link that looks just like the ones we got when we used to click on the link itself in the old version.
If you scroll down you will see more links you can choose from if multiple links exist.
Bellow you'll find a screen shot of a page you open when you click on the mini player…

(Perhaps another picture/icon would be more user friendly but there's no difference in what it actually does… takes you to a link just like before)

(…see? Other links are just below the box containing the first link the mini player sent you to.)

This should be what you see, if you don't, try to find out which of the mods is tech savvy or just patient and get them to walk you through it; they're all pretty nice smiley

@Isadora…🔔📖🕯 OK… so now there's no longer the Mini Player but an orange "Watch movie!" button (look at MotherDragons post below)
Click on that to get you to the the new link page… then you'll see the above screenshot

@Dr.Evil I think those people who are getting confused will find this version better then the 'fake player'. But it seems to me it's human nature for some to dislike change. Guarantee if you stick with this for 6 months - and then tried to change it again you'd have a bunch of peeps complaining that they like this new/old version better. I don't care either way, I get to watch my stuff for free and for that I am very grateful. Thanks Dr E.

@Dr.Evil Its a bad one. It's just going to confuse the living crap out of people even more than this has already.
Nothing about that screams advertising.
It screams sign up to this site by clicking this green premium button here so you get more access to Twomovies..
That's EXTREMELY deceiving and is only going to confuse people into signing up to the other site it redirects you to.
I thought the video was fine for single link use but once you wanted to start digging through links, that's where it became a nuisance. The old way was more intuitive towards link searching through when your watching tv series and you got to go through stuff per each episode.. I kept getting redirected to the main show page. I ended up going to a dif site, it was just easier..

Why would u do this or offer this to us,unless u own Maseke.net and ur closing 2 movies! Why would any one in their right mind want to use the orange source button, when there is this premium site that ur i guess advertising for them that makes 2movies look like { Hate to say it,but CRAP},this makes no sense to me!!!

@ On that page there is, but it would be much more convenient to have one on the next page, with the links and player. When i finish watch a video, i have to close the page I am watching on and then navigate back to this page pictured, click next episode, then click the watch movie button again to get back to the player page. there is also an additional step if i do not use the embedded player. Having a next episode button on the embedded player page would save a ton of time navigating tabs and pages. Currently the page has a button for previous and next source. it seems like it would be pretty simple to add an additional next episode button on that page so you would not have to leave it to continue watching the series.

@buzzbarkey You shouldn't have to navigate anything. When you chose the link, it opens a separate window.

(It's redundant to offer it on the tab/window with the links, as well.)

I do understand what you are saying, but perhaps you didn't realise the fist window (with the "next episode") stays open? :)

In reality the whole page seems redundant. Why have a list of episodes on one page, that takes you to a new page whose only purpose seems to be to click a button to take you to a third page with the actual video links and player? I'm uncertain why you added this additional step?

having a middle step is frustrating when you plan on watching 6 or seven episodes at a time. If the middle page is absolutely necessary, I don't see the "redundancy" of making the website more user friendly by allowing us to access the next episode without having to navigate anywhere at all. I would think that your goal would be the simplification of the process, but perhaps I am mistaken?

To be clear I don't have any confusion about how the website works, I am just confused about why the middle step is necessary, and If it does have some sort of purpose, why can we not have a button that saves us any extra navigating at all?

I switched to your website after the untimely death of one of the early websites because you guys more reliably update your links, and for that I am greatly appreciative, but with this newest update this website has become perhaps the least user friendly of the movie websites. No other website requires users to navigate to three different pages just to open a link or requires you to navigate two pages to watch the following episode.

@buzzbarkey I actually like the new set up and feel a bit confused as to how there can be so many extra steps, like you have described? I don't do any of that.

To reiterate, there aren't all those steps when I use the site (in fact I illustrated how what you are doing is redundant, and you may actually be closing a window that you shouldn't), so I feel that there's something extra being done on your end that needn't be.

In any case, best of luck. Maybe someone else can explain it better than I am as I am clearly not able to convey it to you.

@ I'm sorry if I was unclear. I do not close the window. You only have to do three steps the first time when you find your show, then choose the episode which opens a new window. you then have to click watch movie which opens another window. yes you can just close the window with the player and be back at the window that says next episode, but after waiting for next episode page to open you then have to click watch movie again after which you are taken to a new window with your next episode. this is what i mean by there being many steps. It seems like it would be so much simpler and easier to be able to only have to click watch movie once and then not have to leave the player window in order to watch the next episode, instead simply having a button to take you directly to the next episode embedded player page. This way there would be much less navigating to do. this way in order to watch the next episode of a series all you would need to do is click one button and be automatically taken to the next episodes embedded player page, where your algorithm can continue to automatically select the best video link to open in the player. ...

@ see now the steps make perfect sense to me. I am curious though, as the bots still should be blocked by the "steps" wouldn't my next episode button be okay on that final page?

I know a lot of people keep current on shows but there must also be a great deal who are behind or like to binge watch who would find a next episode button to be very convenient on the imbed page.

If you are worried about cleanliness, it could easily be placed below the source links at the bottom of the page. I doubt most people even scroll down that far, if at all. But it would be so nice to at least have the option.

Also I appreciate the civility of this conversation and you taking the time to respond. there are far to many trolls out there and a-hole mods, that make commenting on things to much of a pain to even bother. Some mods wouldn't even ask the community for feedback. Thanks

so to be clear, despite our whole conversation making it sound like it, I have no problem with the watch movie page. and i like that the links and player are on the same page. If the watch movie page protect the site I think its a great idea. I think this change is an excellent idea, and always have.

What I don't like, and this only effects us if I'm watching more than one episode of the same show, which i assume many people do, is not being able to access the next episode from the embedded player page.

Adding a next episode button would not diminish the improvements you have made, or make the site any less safe from DCMA. It would only make navigating while catching up on a show or binge watching a bit more convenient, once we have already reached the final page.

The "extra step" I was originally referring to before things got a bit complicated in our discussion, was not the added security of the click here page, but the inconvenience of not having the next episode button on the embedded player page. which then required us to close the page we are on to reach the next episode.
