Other than American Werewolf in London, I have never seen horror and comedy go together and work. It breaks the scare. Sometimes a light moment is added in a horror film for tension relief.

If you like horror/comedy then I would recomend the excellent What We Do in the Shadows (2014) from New Zealand.

@---BOX--- Oh really?? I just happened to see a preview on YouTube for it not long ago while waiting for another video to play. That's the only reason i found out about it. It's really good too. I think so anyway.
