Just finished watching the ten part series of this book produced by FX and would recommend it for anyone with an interest in the Troubles of Northern Ireland and beyond.
For those not familiar with the West Belfast accent, then subtitles may be advisable.

If you ask people why they hate each other they talk about bad things hundreds of years ago.
There will never be a peaceful outcome when ordinary people cannot get over it and rebuild.
