Ancient Greek statues are well known for their tiny man hoods.

Small flaccid penises were a sign of self-control, integrity and intelligence.

Large ones were for fools, lustrous philanderers and mendacious men.

This is a quote from Aristophanes play 'Clouds'

“If you do these things I tell you, and bend your efforts to them, you will always have a shining breast, a bright skin, big shoulders, a minute tongue, a big rump and a small prick. But if you follow the practices of today, for a start you’ll have a pale skin, small shoulders, a skinny chest, a big tongue, a small rump, a big prick and a long-winded decree.”

Small penis vs big prick. I know which I'd pick.

@DemandingFemale Those Greeks knew a thing or two, eh?

I think you could get a lot out of this book DF. Lots of references to the Greeks and every other race that had a few willies hanging about.

Apparently the phallus was quite big among religions until the Roman Catholics came along and replaced it with a cross.

After I'd read: "jiggumbob" I had to stop 'n wipe tears having a celebratory smoke... gleeful this journal would be a treasure trove of smiley amusement. BUTT THEN: merely a third of the way IN [yep-pun] I realized hours were burned studying DICK. I needed another break to recover and reconsider whether anyone needed that much d**k in their life. Though I couldn't put a finger on the discomfort prostate maladies caused me [not owning one] I felt increasingly smiley Wondering if I should resume or run away screaming as the day had flown by and I had yet to eat breakfast - which, is now out of the question. I'm SERIOUSLY concerned before the journal concludes I may electively be gay or celibate. smiley

What have you kickstarted boxie?!? smiley
How did I leap into a rabbit hole stuffed with stiffies? smiley
I suspect my dreams smiley are gonna get seriously weirder.

No one needs THAT much d**k in their lives, except maybe those that are fond of holding it (and men who need it for its urinary function)!

I am in favour of moderation in all things, and I think this book should be taken as such. Not a John Grisham page turner which will surely turn into premature eejacks, but more of a reference where the wick can be dipped at leisure, in a controlled manner that will not lead to excessiveness and the aforementioned mishaps being conducive to an inevitable mutual disappointment.

Choosing between homosexuality or celibacy, I would risk the former (obviously having transgender treatment first ) because just one look at the Catholic Church recently would put me off the latter for life. Celibate d**ks are like idle hands - the devil will find work for them.

I am so glad you opened this box of stiffies Tazz and I look forward to exchanging thoughts once I have dipped into the receptacle of words and extracted some or any grains of interest.

I was suggesting the best way to read the book Tazz, but you are right about manhood flourishing in the right ambience of excess. I should have been clearer.

I await you thoughts when finished [̲̅$̲̅(̲̅... (⌐0_0) ...)̲̅$̲̅].

@Teeny💋 It has some interesting (and funny) historical explanations and anecdotes mixed with biology. I am skipping the technical stuff (which is detailed) and enjoying it.
