There was definitely something about it in the forum, I remember reading about it.
My understanding was that it was added to allow users to submit video links that wouldn't necessarily have their own page - User made content, Film shorts, Fan-made films, cool Youtube video's, behind the scene stuff, documentaries etc... (Don't hold me to that though, I could be wrong)
A few people have been using it recently to add links to movies that have had all their links removed due to copyright issues, which is a great bypass for now.
I don't think it is meant for TV episode links or full length movies that warrant having their own page.

Yes, the videos appear in the Video section on your profile.
Just checked out the ones you've added... Good grief Charlie Brown! I don't think it was meant for that lol

thats why i ask. before i add the video link, there is a check box with "adult" so it must be ok.
other types of videos that i wanna add are some that, for example, are like 5 minutes lenght

i think its ok "adult" too. there it says "adult hidden from front page"
my only small question still... is the minimum lenght but i guess that aspect doesnt matter either

We added this because we think there are a lot of videos could be added. Tutorials, lessons, personal blog videos etc. Anything that can't be added as a movie or show.
All videos are searchable.

so, i hope no restrictions on duration lenght or some genres.

hello there. today ive seen the "add video" feature and ive added some video. do you guys know what rules are for posting these? i mean is a minimum lenght of video duration or some genre restriction? and those videos appear only on personal profile, right?
ive tried to find some info about it and failed. tried to PM two mods and message cant be sended i dont know why
@simi5 From what a Mod told me before I submitted any links for movies/shows... If you can't submit a movie/tv show/doc etc via "Request a Movie" because it does not have an IMDB page, then you can do so via "Add Video" or if links have been removed due to DMCA on a movie page, you can also just add a link through "add video" ;) the rest of the info is under the tab. When you add these videos, it's public on your profile page - above your wall under "Videos" and also when you click "Home" you will find them there as well - above comments.
As for porn.. I have no clue. i know there is an Adult checkbox but you will have to ask a Mod/Admin.
