The Wiesmann MF5 Roadster *The Black Bat - *Hand-Crafted Sports Car.
Wiesmann is a luxury sports car maker based in Germany...The exterior work done on the car underscores the name it was given - Black Bat. It is highlighted by a matte black finish with foil covers on the door panels, inner hood, engine room, and trunk. The stealthy finish on the exterior of the MF5 V10 is further complimented by a new set of 20 inch forged wheels painted in black wrapped in high performannce tires with 6-piston calipers and discs on the front and 4-piston calipers and discs on the rear from Brembo.

With a top speed of 310 km/h and completing the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds the Wiesmann Roadster is strength, elegance and speed. Equipped with a V10 engine, 507 HP and 520 Nm torque, it’s a car that appeals to all the senses.
... The Wiesmann Roadster MF5 costs from 189.500 Euro and is the most exciting combination of power and an open-air experience that has ever been built by Wiesmann.

The cooperation between the two companies is finally materializing into a new model, which will be revealed during the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-September
They released a photo of the car under covers, taken at the brand’s factory in the city of Dulmen, in Germany. It shows what appears to be a two-door coupe with a muscular side profile and a front fascia incorporating Wiesmann’s corporate design of the radiator grille.

✴The Chief was introduced as Indian’s heavyweight competitor to Harley-Davidson and lasted for 31 years. In 1922, 21 years after the company began building bikes, Indian launched the Chief with a 61 cubic inch flathead V-twin. Although a larger 74 cubic inch bike, called the Big Chief, was an option.

✴Indian remained faithful to the principle of a flathead, and in doing so escaped some of the pitfalls that Harley-Davidson encountered in their efforts with overhead valve designs.

✴The Indian was actually rather unconventional, with its left-hand twist grip (apparently so that policemen would be able to use their pistols with their right hand), a foot clutch, hand shift and the ignition advance controlled by the right handlebar grip. A 3-speed gearbox was standard, but a *Police Package 4-speed gearbox and a reverse gear were options.

1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback
*The Boss 429 also known as the "Boss" by enthusiasts is arguably one of the rarest and most valued muscle cars from the era. In total there were 1358 original Boss 429s made. For a two year run,1969 & 1970. The origin of the Boss 429 came about as Ford was seeking to develop a Hemi engine that could compete with the famed 426 Hemi from Chrysler..Boss Delivered Well Over 500 Horsepower.

🔹The Boss 429 engine was derived from the Ford 385 engine. It used four-bolt mains, a forged steel crank and forged steel connecting rods. The engine featured aluminum cylinder heads, with a modified Hemi type combustion chamber which Ford called "crescent". These heads used the "dry-deck" method, meaning no head gaskets were used. Each cylinder, oil passage and water passage had an individual "O" ring style seal to seal it tight. The Boss 429 engine used a single Holley 4-barrel carburetor rated at 735 CFM mounted on an aluminum intake manifold that flowed well for its time.

★The Model X was introduced in 1926 as a comprehensively reengineered and improved model based on the Model A. It featured a new chassis, a redesigned engine, and a new front suspension arrangement to lower the center of gravity.

★The Duesenberg Model X offered a significant step up in performance over the outgoing Model A, the comprehensively reworked 260 cu. in., overhead cam, straight-8 engine was fitted with a new crankshaft, a new valve train, different pistons, and a revised intake. Power climbed from 88 hp to 100 hp, and the car was capable of topping out at 100 mph.

★The Great Depression killed Duesenberg in 1937 along with many other automakers in the US and Europe. The surviving Duesenbergs are now individually known to collectors and enthusiasts. The 1967 Toyota 2000GT, Toyota's first supercar! Built with a 2.0 liter in-line 6 cylinder fed by Triple Solex Side Draft Carburetors with twin overhead cams and tuned and developed by Yamaha. Accompanied by a 5 speed manual transmission which was unheard of in 1967! These cars were very expensive for their era at $6,800 in 1967 compared to a Porsche 911 at $6,050, Jaguar E-Type at $5,585 or a new Corvette at $4,721! Only 351 (only 62 left hand drive) 2000GT's were produced worldwide! The 2000GT shattered many world speed records and was able to achieve a top speed of 135 mph! The 2000GT made a name for itself as a world class car. Another boost to its prestige was its appearance in the James Bond 007 movie........ "You Only Live Twice"

Reviewing a pre-production 2000GT in 1967, Road & Track magazine summed up the car as "one of the most exciting and enjoyable cars we've driven", and compared it favorably to the Porsche 911. Today, the 2000GT is seen as the first seriously collectible Japanese car and the first "Japanese supercar". Examples of the 2000GT have sold at auction for as much as $1,200,000.
