✴The 2018 Yulin Dog Meat Festival will begin on Thursday,June 21st and end Saturday, June 30th..Folks it's just 26 days away, and we need all the help and support we can get.Every June, for hundreds of years the small city of Yulin in China holds an annual Dog Meat Festival.with the number of dogs slaughtered at the festival representing less than 0.02% of the Chinese dog meat trade as a whole. This violent and crime-ridden trade is alive all year round. ✴[b]Ending Yulin won't end dog eating. But ending dog eating will end Yulin.[/b]

✴It's estimated that in Asia alone, more then 10 million dogs, are slaughtered for the dog meat trade each year.Dogs of all shapes and sizes, many of them family pets still wearing their collars, are snatched from the streets and forced into tiny cages. Many suffer broken limbs as they are transported vast distances, without food or water.When they finally arrive at the dog meat markets, injured, dehydrated and exhausted, they are forced to watch in terror as other dogs are bludgeoned to death or thrown still alive into boiling water to remove their skins.

✴It’s our job not to judge another culture about outdated and unfounded beliefs. It’s our job to educate, lead by example and be compassionate. In Canada and The United States and many Western countries, dogs have an elevated purpose. They go to war with us. They protect us. More than that, for many, dogs are family members and our children.

✴I understand that we are all on a journey in life. We all have different likes and dislikes, different nationalities and religions too, but there is one thing that we need to have in common with each other, and that’s peace! Genuine compassion and genuine peace for one an other and our planetary companions. Contrary to political and religious dogma, animals do not belong to us. They are not commodities. They are not property. And they are not inanimate,objects, who can’t think and feel. I was astonished by how bad the situation about animal cruelty is. Domestic animals or pets are like family and they do not deserve to be treated this way. So PLEASE take a few minutes today and sign as many petitions as you can, tell family and friends, e-mail them the links, and ask them to fight with us to finally put an end to this barbaric and cruel festival.Human beings must be the protectors of the animal kingdom, not the destroyers. It was build entirely by hand in Turin Italy at a cost of $250,000, and like many concept cars wea never put to production.In the mid 1960;s George Barris of Barris Kustoms City acquired the car for $1 directly from ford

✴In August 1965 the Batman TV show producers approached car customizer Dean Jeffries to build a Batmobile for their new show, Jeffries was going to use a 1959 Cadillac, but ultimately he turned down the project because he felt he wouldn't have enough time to complete the car.

✴Producer William Dozier then approached George Barris, Of Barris Kustoms, to see if he was interested in building a Batmobile for the upcoming show....Seeing the bat-like qualities the 1955 Lincoln Futira car already had, Barris knew it was the perfect solution to the quandary 20th Century Fox had created.

✴On October 11 1965 the Batmobile was completed and delivered to Fox where it made its television debut on January 12 1966.
