The teacher said tomorrow for everyone to tell a story with a moral to it. The next day the teacher called on Susie. Susie said this morning she was walking back from the hen house and fell down breaking all the eggs.The moral is,Don't put all
your eggs in one basket.
Next Jennie was on her way back from milking the cow and fell down. Arriving at the house crying her mother said "Don't cry over spilled milk" thus the moral.
Now little Johnnies turn. Little Johnnie said his father was in the war. He was surrounded by a platoon of the enemy.All he had was a pistol a knife a machine gun and a bottle of whiskey.Oh Dear! the teacher said. What Happened? My Dad turned up the bottle of whiskey, took out his knife and pistol and killed half the platoon.What then? said the teacher. Then he drank the rest of the whiskey, took out his machine gun and killed all the others.
