to the eyes of selected people.Is this city truly invisible, or could it be a portal to the realm of *Engkanto...*Enchanted beings* This one is probably a place you don’t want to travel, but if you are looking for an epic adventure Biringan is the perfect place. But there is no guarantee that you can get out of this place.It is said that Biringan City lie between Gandara, Tarangan and Pagsanha in Samar province of the Philippines.The name *Biringan*itself, translates,a place to look for missing people.

... ★ Because of fear of retribution from the inhabitants of the lost city, the local only talk about it in hushed whispers. The city is inhabited by supernatural beings, it said that the engkantos are shapechangers who can transform as human or animal, without philtrum, a vertical groove between the nose and the upper lip, they are more terrifying.
★ Those who have seen this mythical city have said that there are many buildings, but it more looks like cathedral buildings. It is described as dazzling city of light with high and magnificent structures equipped with advanced technology by some ships that passed by. According to the story anyone who have seen this city had been victims of demon possessions.In some case small number of bus drivers blamed the engkanto for being lost to Biringan City. They said that engkantos controls their mind to take the path of Biringan. And they found themselves lost.
★ No one knows where the Biringan exactly lies; no one can ever tell how to go there. It will only show to the ones who really believe. We can’t deny the similarity of the stories of the people who claims to witness the mystery of Biringan City. We all have struggles and burdens that we deal with on a daily basis. For untold thousands of people, they can carry hardships, misery, and a sense of doom with them for years.

✯𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙮 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝘼 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙚 ......Once upon a time in a small mountain village, it was the custom for the villagers to strap on their knapsacks each morning. Then, during the day, each time they worried about something or felt depressed about a problem, they would pick up a small pebble and put it in their knapsack. The knapsacks were heavy and a burden to carry because the villagers never emptied them. They carried their burdens every day. It was all they knew.One day one of the village elders walked down to the river bank bent over from his knapsack full of burdens and noticed one of the small boys from the village skipping pebbles across the water. The boy’s knapsack was empty.What are you doing the old man asked. And why is your knapsack empty Why aren’t you carrying your burdens like the rest of us.I come down to the river bank at the end of each day, the boy said, and skip my pebbles across the water until my knapsack is empty. I see no reason to keep carrying them.The old man was stunned and so bent over from his knapsack full of burdens that he could hardly move. He had never seen anyone cast their burdens away like that. Would you like to try it the boy asked.The old man was hesitant, yet it seemed like such a good idea. Slowly he reached into his knapsack that was large and heavy from all the burdens he had accumulated over many years. He grabbed a pebble and studied it, recalling the burden of pain that he felt when he had placed it in his knapsack. He was so bent over that it was difficult to cast the burden away and watch it skip across the water and finally disappear, but he somehow did it..The boy smiled. The old man smiled also. It was easier than he thought to let go of the burden. Then he tossed another pebble, another burden, then another, and another. The boy stayed and watched. They built a fire and the old man kept throwing until his knapsack was at last empty. He felt so relieved.The next day the old man, standing straight and tall, told the other villagers what happened and how good he felt. They could see how happy he was, how he looked and acted like a different person. They were amazed.At the end of the day, all the villagers joined the old man and the small boy and went to the river bank and skipped their burdens across the water until their knapsacks were empty. They were amazed at how good and happy they felt. They never continued to hang onto their burdens again. A sign was erected at the entrance to the village that said.....

I walk because, somehow, it’s like reading....... You’re privy to these lives and conversations that have nothing to do with yours...............Every walk is a sort of crusade.

Why do I walk? I like the rhythm of it, my shadow always a little ahead of me on the pavement. I like being able to stop when I like, to lean against a building and make a note in my journal, or read an email, or send a text message, and for the world to stop while I do it. Walking, paradoxically, allows for the possibility of stillness. Walking is mapping with your feet. It helps you piece a city together, connecting up neighbourhoods that might otherwise have remained discrete entities, different planets bound to each other, sustained yet remote. I like seeing how in fact they blend into one another, I like noticing the boundaries between them. Walking helps me feel at home. There’s a small pleasure in seeing how well I’ve come to know the city through my wanderings on foot, crossing through different neighborhoods of the city, some I used to know quite well, others I may not have seen in a while, like getting reacquainted with someone I once met at a party. Sometimes I walk because I have things on my mind, and walking helps me sort them out. I walk because it confers or restores a feeling of placeness. I walk because, somehow, it’s like reading. You’re privy to these lives and conversations that have nothing to do with yours, but you can eavesdrop on them. Sometimes it’s overcrowded; sometimes the voices are too loud. But there is always companionship. You are not alone......*You walk in the city side by side with the living and the dead.

Mariam Petrosyan, is most well known as the author of the award-winning novel The Gray House.Mariam Petrosyan was born in 1969 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. After finishing an art college she became a cartoonist at the Studio of Armenfilm. Later she moved to Moscow to work at Soyuzmultfilm, but came back to Yerevan in 1995 and returned to Armenfilm.
🔹 The House, which sits overlooked on the outskirts of town, is a boarding school for disabled young adults. Isolated from the Outsides, the residents of the House are enmeshed in a carefully constructed world of unspoken rules and thorny histories. The meandering narrative moves back and forth in time, alternating narrators and tenses, to paint an intricate portrait of a social order that appears ultimately dictated by an unknown force, understood by its inhabitants to be the House itself. When student deaths begin to pile up over the course of the narrative, readers can identify with newcomer Smoker as he tries to understand the mysteries of the House and the source of its power over its inhabitants.....Mariam Petrosyan rips up the rule book, presenting a highly original and energetic novel that will give the reader an insight into a world that is seldom presented.

🔹 I genuinely, enjoyed this book. This is absolutely my sort of novel. I loved the characters, I loved the structure, and I loved the surreal sense of mysticism and deep unease that permeated the whole of the House. I loved the whimsy, I loved the quirkiness, and I loved the constant uncertainty.

🔹 In terms of genre, this is an excellent example of weird, surreal, quirky, slice of life fantasy with a dose of magical realism...*The house, it emerges, has hidden dimensions

✯ It was mid-October when I first spotted them.They were the first Christmas decorations of the year. It was the beginning of the 10 week period when the stores do all they can to get us to buy all we can. It was the great Christmas shopping rush and the bigger the gifts the better. I shook my head sadly and walked on, but then a wonderful memory came back into my mind. It was late-December from several years earlier. I was shopping alone trying to pick up some thick Winter socks to warm my frozen feet. As I rounded the corner in the store I saw a Christmas tree full of paper angels. On each angel was the name of a needy child whose family couldn’t afford to buy them a gift that year. Shoppers who picked an angel could buy a simple toy or gift and the store would wrap it and send it to the child that Christmas. Around the tree I saw a teenage boy and girl picking out several angels apiece. Their mother was smiling while she watched them. I walked up next to her and started talking with her. She told me that her children started this several years ago when she first explained to them what the Charity Angel tree was for. Each offered to give up one of their toys that year so that a needy child could have one. It didn’t stop then, though. Each year since the kids had saved money they earned throughout the year and bought more and more children the gifts they wouldn’t have otherwise. It had become a family tradition. I smiled when she finished, walked over to the tree, and picked out a few angels too. I left the store feeling in touch with the true meaning of Christmas.
... ✯ May we always remember that life is not about the money you have or the things you own. Life is about the love you share and the people you help. And may we also see that it is never too late to start a family tradition

✯ The listing comes from a woman who lives in Tulsa. She claims she has no family and would really like to be a part of one this Christmas...Sadly, the woman removed the post after receiving hateful messages. However, that hate is fueling a love-filled search to find the woman and make her Christmas one to remember. An Oklahoma man named Carson Carlock decided to try and find the woman by posting her ad on Facebook. His post has been shared more than 6,000 times and eventually reached the local news. Carson said he did get in touch with her before she deleted the post but all he knows is her name is Carrie. Hopefully Grandma Carrie will see the news because dozens of people have offered to open their homes to her this Christmas while hundreds of others are hoping for an address to send her a Christmas card.

Each year, we challenge ourselves to come up with a new and unique way to spread Christmas cheer and to celebrate the season with our guests. What started as a relatively simple Christmas flash mob evolved into a more elaborate Christmas Miracle surprise that still captures the imaginations of people 7 years later. Our blue hat-wearing WestJetters helped Blue Santa give gifts to a community in Dominican Replublic who need them most. We then asked our 14,000 WestJetters to help us spread the Christmas spirit from London to Hawaii and from Costa Rica to Yellowknife Canada..

Quebec City Was Ranked One Of The Top 10 Best Christmas Destinations In The World..Starting at the end of November, Old Québec is transformed into a real Christmas village, just like out of Charles Dickens's novel - A Chrismas Carol -



The ranking, put together by Travelandleisure, SmarterTravel and CNN Travel, put Quebec City at No. 8, just ahead of Reykjavik, Iceland, and just behind Honolulu, Hawaii.

This isn't the first time Quebec City has been recognized for rocking the holidays. In 2016, it was voted North America's best winter wonderland by USA Today.

❦ Born July 12th 1955 in Vitebsk, Belarus - Died August 19th 2019 in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico is a Russian–Israeli modern impressionistic artist who works mainly with a palette knife and oils. He developed his own unique technique and style which is unmistakable and cannot be confused with other artists. Afremov is mainly known as being a self-representing artist who promotes and sells his work exclusively over the internet with very little exhibitions and involvement of dealers and galleries.

❦ On 17 May 1990 the Afremov family entered Israel in Ben Gurion International Airport. They had to give up their Soviet citizenship in favor of Israeli. To this day, Leonid Afremov and his family are citizens of Israel only.

... ❦ Because he was a recent Russian immigrant, the locals considered his work as having little value. Galleries took paintings for 50 shekels - 15$ and were reselling them for 500 to 5000 shekels. When Leonid confronted galleries about the extremely low prices, he always received the same answer, you a Russian immigrant,
❦ During the early 1990s, Leonid Afremov was mainly working with watercolors and acrylic. He was experimenting very little with usage of the palette knife. He was painting what people were buying, with very little artistic freedom.
❦ In 2005 Leonid Afremov vacationed in Playa del Carmen and Cancun for the first time. Since then he was visiting the Mexican Caribbean 2 to 3 times a year and completely fell in love with the area. Eventually in March 2010 Leonid decided to take on early retirement recommended by his doctors and moved to Playa del Carmen, a popular resort town near Cancun. Where he recently passed away with his whole family around him.

★Abe was programmed to love. Until recently, he had a family: he was living with them, cooking, helping them in every aspect of their lives – it was a servile situation, but he didn’t care, because he felt loved. Then, suddenly, everything changed and his “family” stopped loving him. The lack of affection shook the robot, undermined its mechanisms. They tell him that he’s only a machine, a mere application, but he feels otherwise: he’s aware of himself and his emotions, and this situation leads him to perform horrific acts. The lack of love from the people around him is unacceptable for Abe, who begins to ‘fix’ all humans he would like to receive attention from.

★While human beings endowed with reason and conscience are able to maintain a balance in front of the rejection from others, no one taught Abe what is right and wrong, he doesn’t have a sense of morality. If this lack of common sense would seem to be the discriminant that separates the artificial intelligence from the human, but it’s actually quite untrue. Like any serial killer, Abe doesn’t have control over his impulses, and does everything to satisfy them. This is the idea behind the short: it is not his artificial side, but his deeply human instincts that make him dangerous.
