Off The Bookshelf - The Running Grave by Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling). (225 views, 2 replies)
Robert Galbraith reads an extract from chapter 1 of the new Strike mystery, The Running Grave.
Although the book weighs in at 961 print pages (according to Amazon), it was a much more satisfying read than the previous effort (The Ink Black Heart).
Unrequited love remains in the air for Strike and his business partner, Robin Ellacott but we are treated to minicases to solve along with the major one that has plenty of occult following, abuse in all forms and philosophical ponderings on the hows and whys normal people get mixed up in these "answer All questions for a price" groups.
Plenty of travelling around London and Norwich. Should make a great 3 parter with the right script and secondary actors.
