Thank you PV for your wonderful contribution and being a "buddy" of some of these FADs, I sure hope you can point them to this here thread and let them know that HELP is out there.

This is an anonymous venture PV, so the FAD organisation would appreciate if those in need could come forward personally. We all appreciate your concern for your "buddies", but remember that they have to make the first step.
Sponsors are available within FAD, but on a strictly confidential basis, so it would be irresponsible of us to start commenting on individual cases.

I doubt the statistics above (and stats never lie, do they?), normal people rarely down-vote. It's just not nice.
But if there is a category 'deranged antisocial loners who forgot to take their meds' then I suspect one troll with many log-ins might be responsible for 98% of the down-votes.
Being cluster-down-voted does not worry me, but trolls just leave a bad smell around the site. And this sort of site works when people are friendly!

Why not ignore them? This running coercive bullying of people who downvote seems a bit over the top,, but I'm not downvoting it.. just adding my two cents.. and I rarely participate in the forum because of the cliques... and this kind of thread..

In the 23 his this had been up every comment except for 2 have been downvotes enough that my upvotes didn't even register. If you don't like a review or trailer just say so there's no need for the negative 👎. I think 43% is a little low on the top reason to use 👎.

Over the past few weeks, we have been noticing an upsurge in the number of down votes in the forum.
Extensive research into this disturbing trend was considered necessary (as the administration was quite happy to sit back and only observed the situation) which led to choosing a randomly selected group of VIP members to answer the following question ...
Why do members down vote comments/threads?
You can imagine the variety of answers, but we have managed to group the responses into the six areas below.
Obviously the top answer is the cause for most concern as it affects the harmonious “Feng Shui” that exists among our merry band of 2MOoOBers.
To this end we reached out to agencies that may be able to provide help/mediation in this area, and we discovered that one organisation seems perfect for the job. They offer support and advice not only to the troubled downvoter and his/her long suffering family, but to all members that are affected by his/her addiction.
