Same comments as I gave the previous movie. Except this time I recommend some partaking of some good Green-Bud before, during, and after movie. Don`t forget the munchies, and of course a fine Beer. HAVE A HAPPY!!!! 5/5.

Loved Star Trek as a kid, grew up watching it. Watched all of the new films and they're so enjoyable to watch, couldn't fault any of the new ones to my taste.

This captain must have a wardrobe of dead cats with the amount of near death scrapes he gets in, a little over the top with great effects. 7.5/10

I find it very significant, although ironical, that the attempted attack on Starbase Yorktown, in the 23rd Century, to be thwarted by soundtracks from the 20th century.. (I haven't yet seen the CONLUSION, but feel that Jefferson Airplane - 'White Rabbit' could very well describe this event.. ..go ask Alice, I'm sure she'll know!

I just seen it in TS and its a good movie ... The voyage contiues but I am waiting for the show I hope it to be another 7 season show like TNG and Voyager or DS9. Star trek Beyond is good but its the same as the previous movies. I want something new this movie is good but I am waiting for the show with new things in it.Overall a 4.5/5 movie this one a watch but not in cam for sush a good space movie , but thats what I like. Enjoy this movie...

Star trek is far better than Star wars, they are not in the same league. I watched all tv shows and most of the movies of star trek and is far better.
@aked23 in a way you cant compare them at all besides it deals with space and aliens. star wars is fantasy startrek is scifi. ill admit the new movies are not that good but the others are great. they both are great in their own categories. its impossible to put them up against each other really. i do prefer starwars since im more fantasy driven but i do feel starwars 1-6 have much more story or rather the hidden meanings etc. only star trek ive really liked was next gen and some of voyager.

The Universal Translator may be fine with those who only Like Star Trek, but I prefer the Babel Fish (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), so Stick It In Your Ear!!

Bravo! Damn good movie. I read a review from a tabloid that said the plot was hard to follow, rubbish.
I hope they settle on this cast for a few more, if they live up to this one.

Sound quality was uneven. This installment was good quality but the seemingly endless explosions got old and then boring.

I found that the sound was very choppy. It keeps going out for several seconds, and while it is annoying, it doesn't detract too much from the copy's watch-ability for a new cam.

I can't agree more with the last comment made. Freakin awesome movie this time around. They pulled off more in this movie than I think they thought was possible, and also it seems as though they are getting into the spirit that this time around Star Trek is not the Star Trek that we knew as children and Teenagers (William Shatner time) but in itself a whole new line but also keeping with the spirit of the movie which i think was lacking in the first couple movies (we have to forgive them that for it was an experimental concept they were coming up with at that time, but now look to be getting the hang of)
Rating wise? need I say? OK I will > 5/5 or 10/10 however you look at it, it is getting full marks all across the board.
I will be very excited to see what they come up with in order to trump this (if they can)
Rapid Video was a good link, not the best sound but it was listenable and watchable and enjoyable.

Tremendous Sci-Fi/Action/Drama. Truly an amazing work: I was on the edge of me seat through the entire white-knuckle ride. My advice--don't watch stoned--it really diminishes the prowess of the film and (at least I) one quickly forgets how great this picture is when baked proper.
