This movie surprised me. It's not one I would usually watch but I was bored during quarantine. The story is about two brothers who go on a magic quest together and learn about brotherhood and family. Pretty simple storyline, but the film was funny enough to keep me invested throughout and I thought the 2 main characters were likable and relatable. The ending was very emotional and I don't usually cry in animated films, but this one hit me hard.

One of the best animation and storyline i've watch so far in this year 2020. It teaches us the true meaning of family and brotherhood/sisterhood, and that we should always have faith and true to ourselves.

A very fun family-friendly movie. As a lover of both Disney and movies about magical fantasy settings, I very much enjoyed this film (as evident by my 10/10 rating)

The plot was very good an engaging, and at one point you could be smiling and maybe let out a chuckle and in the next, you could find yourself thrown in the midst of a decently tense action situation (with the sound effects to match) Not to mention I have no complaints about the nice visuals it has.

This is a must-watch film for anyone who is into heartwarming fantasy magical adventures, which show the importance of believing in yourself and valuing what you have with your family.

Good movie for the kids to watch. They enjoyed it since there is magic and sorcery.

I found Onward to be decidedly charming, but lacked in other departments where Pixar's previous ventures have stood so strong. At its core Onward is about a relationship between brothers, and while it delivers on that front, it feels almost immature with regards to how it explores their relationship--ironic, for a movie with a message about learning to love what you have instead of pining for the past. Ultimately it's just as polished as the rest of Pixar's recent output and certainly never hits the lows of something like cars 2, but I couldn't help but feel somewhat unsatisfied when it was over.

Very nice and funny animation movie, a real surprise! These two brothers are heart warming in any respect and the adventures hey have to go through are tuely a parable to live. Ever found yourself where you started just before?
Also a tale about family, love and to do the right thing and believe in your dreams

I loved this movie so much I gave 10/10, it was very well done, I loved the characters, the magic and comedic scenes, as others have said, you need a tissue, all about brotherly love and more, definitely one to watch again and again which I will.

Great movie, but did anyone else feel like Barley should have been voiced by Jack Black? It feels like the character was based on Jack Blacks character from Orange County. Regardless, great story about brotherhood and growing up, all with a little magic.

GSOH of writer. Fire and lights are too difficult to conjure, then electricity is replaced and the downfall of magic people. Younger brother sacrifice his chance of meeting image of his late father to his big bro who is a father figure to him already.

This was a very entertaining movie with a good balance of everything; the characters were adorable, the dose of drama was perfect and the animation / effects was superb. The music was uplifting and inspiring. Plus, it was full of valuable lessons. I would recommend to watch it with the entire family.

I liked this movie very much, well done and consistent. Shows various aspects of family love. Sometimes funny, other times touching. It is worth taking kids to the cinema and at the same time experience something pleasant :)

This is an amazingly well done family movie. It's a quest map that teaches us the journey is as formative as reaching the goal and how to recognize people we take for granted in our lives; what they've sacrificed to help us and how we can help them. This kids' movie broke my heart and put it back together better than it was before.

I do believe that direct to digital will be a game-changer for us. I loved this movie. I think that compared to the rest of the movie, that they rushed the ending but it was good none the less. Hopefully, they will continue to make new content instead of remaking everything as live-action with computer animation. The only live-action remake I would want to see would be Wall-E but only because I'd want to see how they did it.

This animated film had all the right elements to make it a fantastic and entertaining watch. The animation was great, the characters lovable and the story engaging. Great for the whole family. This is a surprise from Disney since much of what they are pumping out these days is drivel.
