I really liked this movie. Not the same feel as the original but really close. Imagine if the movie ghost busters mated with the movie Goonies and they had a movie kid. This would be it. Very touching tribute to Harold Ramis.

I enjoyed this, don't really get all the hate. It's much better than the remake, I laughed quite a few times. It isn't the best ghostbusters movie, but it is definitely not the worst either.

I really liked this one, it's sooo much better than the "Ghostbusters" remake. I love the tribute to Harold Ramis, Egon was always my favorite character. And we even got a pop up by his crush Janine. I will def watch again in HD. The movie is about Egon"s daughter and grandkids moving to his farm when they find out he passed. Phoebe who is very smart like her grandad starts digging into Egon's past and figures out Egon the dirt farmer was hunting old ghost from his past. With the help of her brother Trevor and friend Podcast (loved him) they try to finish what Egon started. I love love that all 3 of the orginal members make a appearance in this, that last part on the farm with them is my favorite part of the movie. I liked Paul Rudds character also as the lazy teacher I really loved the movie selections he had for his students lol. [SPOILER] nobody is better than Rick and Sigourney. So I guess Dana Barrett made a appearance but I must've missed that part I didn't see her in this at all. ...

@galavion There are 2 post credit scenes. The first one is part way through the credits, and Sigourney is in that one, and the second one is after the credits have finished. Which gives you hint at maybe a sequel.

This is a great movie and i love all the Ghostbusters movies. the cast and the director has done a awesome job. It just shows you that old never dies it just get an update. But i'll have to say as well that i'll wait for the HD to come out yes MrDeath this Casino ads is really f it up. They must bloke this person for he is advertising a business on this videos which is against this site rules.

Wonderfully fun & funny. A nice homage to Harold. I loved how it incorporates 3 generations. Nice graphics & sound. Very well cast, especially with the youngsters. Wiry dialogue and gust adult enough as to not ruin the family rating. All in all I'd say at least an eight of ten. A righteous third installment of the original franchise.

Director Reitman follows his father Ivan's footsteps and helms his own Ghostbusters movie which is the direct sequel to 1984 and 1989 hits and set thirty years later. The film follows the family of the late Egor Spengler (Ramis) who moves into the farm he had bequeathed to them and also the legacy of being ghostbusters. The film is almost a beat-for-beat remake of the first movie with the storyline about the resurgence of Gozer and her minions. Reitman infused it with a more serious tone but made sure it also has heavy doses of Easter eggs, nostalgia, and fan service. The first hour has pacing issues while the final act feels rushed. The special effects have improved and are more seamless. Rudd, as the teacher who is a Ghostbusters junkie, and Coon, as Egor's estranged daughter, are suitable for their parts, but Grace and Wolfhard are miscast. They lack the comedic edge and their characters should have been older to make it credible that they could handle the hefty proton packs. ...

This was such a fun watch. Even though most of the movie had kids starring in the main parts and it put me in mind of the Goonies, it was not just a kids movie. The story was great, the acting is aces and there are quite a few jump scares. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely watch this again in the future.

running all the way thru, you can't really get into the movie,

@MrDeath Is your vote based on the actual story/movie or just the quality of what u watched.. This site is more for the review of the actual movie. I think it deserves more then a 1 just based on the trailer alone. But that's just my opinion.
@MrDeath Yeah, people selling their cam copies to scam ad companies kinda killed the cam copies of like 99% of movies unfortunately.
Now it's wait for the proper release or bust.

@MrDeath Just keep in mind technically we are not supposed to complain about upload quality, reviews and scoring are only for the movie itself- but if you are nice about pointing out it's one of those ad spammed ones and leave it at that, the mods will generally be understanding and let it be.
All that being said, yes I agree, I don't think the ones that have the casino ads should be removed when noticed because it only promotes the ones doing that, and I don't think it should be encouraged.
