Perhaps we could do a thread to introduce people to modern Greek Fiction and non Fiction. (from the last 50 years)?
Could you list a few authors for me to investigate? They will need to have been translated into English though.

I can suggesst for "Nikos Kazantzakis". The novelist of Zorbas The Greek. He got a nobel. There must be a lot of his work translated. His style human, covering topics of society and religion. Not difficult to digest
