According to Memory Alpha, the great wiki repository of all things Star Trek canon, Gagh is a Klingon delicacy made from serpent worms. Although most Klingons preferred it live, it could also be served stewed or cold.
It doesn’t sound appetizing. And in fact, in one of the great food scenes in all Star Trek, Commander Riker, getting ready to transfer aboard a Klingon vessel as part of an officer exchange program, takes a sort of philosophical view of the whole thing. His last meal aboard the Enterprise is a feast of so-called Klingon delicacies including — as he explains to Dr. Pulaski — pipius claw, heart of targ, and GAGH.
Gagh?! Pulaski replies, in a kind of repulsed horror. And a conversation ensues in which Pulaski tells Riker: I’ve never heard of a Klingon starving to death on his own vessel, but you might.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=HoOfjGqo... ... This recipe for Gagh does not call for living worms, which is disappointing I know. However, if you're looking for something resembling what's been seen on TNG and DS9, you've come to the right place.
KLINGON GAGH RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound Chinese long beans, either purple or green will work (aka Yard Long Beans, these are just a long version of green beans.)
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped or ground
1 tablespoon ginger, chopped or ground
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
Black or red food coloring (if you omit this ingredient, the dish will look and taste like a simple (but really tasty) green bean dish)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Pepper to taste (optional)
2 tablespoons oil for stir-frying, or as needed
DIRECTIONS:
Wash the long beans, drain thoroughly, and trim the tops and bottoms.
Blend together in a small bowl the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, food dye, sugar, salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in skillet over medium heat.
Add the long beans and stir-fry until they start to shrivel or "pucker" and turn brown (5 - 7 minutes).
Remove the long beans and drain in a colander or on paper towels.
Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan and add the soy sauce mixture and heat for less than a minute and then add the beans.
Continue to toss and turn to coat the beans with the sauce (I use tongs to do this) and stir-fry until the beans are the right color (brown) and are heated through.
Klingons eat this as a finger food, so to eat this dish in that tradition, chill to room temperature before serving.
This recipe yields 4 servings for Human Beings. For Klingons, this is one serving (since, as we all know, they are pigs and have no control or manners).
