Yes, we know the story has been done before....just not like this. But definitely worth a watch! [SPOILER]after all, she was only an android.....
Good film. Very enjoyable. It's very similar to other such films (Blade Runner etc). And though it's low budget nonetheless it still serves up a movie that is very worthy and watchable. It has its defects, sure, but that's to be expected given the low budget. Even so the negatives are few compared to its merits.
I saw Travis fimmel so I jumped to watch this. I totally was wasn't expecting to see him play the character he played! I loved it though, it is nice to see actors do someone totally unexpected. It really shows their acting range. Did anyone else think guy pierce looked different? I can't pinpoint what looked different about his face but something did.
Anyway I enjoyed this movie, the quirky characters were entertaining. It has some really great actors in this as well.
I will watch anything featuring Guy Pearce. He is a brilliant actor and I enjoy the movies he is in. Yes we can compare this to Blade Runner but a lot of movies are similar, if it's done well I don't see a problem. This was done well and I really enjoyed it.
I'm probably one of the few people on this planet who has never seen Blade Runner or it's sequel. So, I can't say it was of any influence on me as I watched Zone 414.
I have watched the TV series Westworld and found it to be comparable. This one, Zone 414 was what I would consider to be the more realistic of the two. The acting was good and it held my interest throughout. I probably won't watch it again but it is worth a watch.
In all honesty whilst it is worth a watch, I can't help thinking that it's a High school drama(ish) story & execution.
Kind of another take on the world of Bladerunner. Fimmel's supporting role performance was very good. Guy Pearce performs as one would expect from this great actor. This movie seemed not to have a big budget, however made good use of what they had. not one to go back and watch again but for sure worth a watch. Solid 7/10 from me
