Prizefighter: The Life of Jim Belcher - Russell Crowe

A true story and takes place in the early 1800s UK. Most of the population barely surviving and one of the ways out of poverty is boxing. (some of it - bare knuckles) Jim Belcher was influenced by his grandfather, played by Russell Crowe, who was a bare-knuckle boxer in the countryside. Jim started reluctantly and rose to national fame.
If you like the genre- worth checking out.
