It's obvious Meghan's a liar. As for Harry, he's deluded. Thus Winge and Ginge make a right pair. But most of all I pity their children. Yes they'll be pampered and have as much stuff as they'll ever need, but imagine having Winge for a mother and Ginge as your dad? You'd end up dysfunctional for sure. Anyway, they're stuck in the USA. I hope they never return to the UK. God save the Queen.

@Crutchbender How is it obvious she's lying. That's ridiculous to say. You don't know her of the truths being told. Exactly how is it so obvious? I don't see this

@Binarydudette Then you weren't listening, nor following this hot mess the last year plus.
There were several things they said during this interview that contradicted not only things they've said in the past, but also things that were said earlier in this interview. Twice Harry contracted something Meghan stated when Oprah was talking to Meghan alone.
Example: When Meghan was talking about her mental health issues and her feelings of suicide, she went on for several minutes about how she and Harry asked repeatedly for help and were refused help. When Harry started talking about it, he said they didn't ask for help because he was "too embarassed" to ask for help.
I also believe they have withheld information, and have used us American's lack of knowledge about the Royal Family to play their lies and sympathy game.
Well, not this American.
Did Harry mention that the only memebers of the Royal Family that have full time security are the one's who work full time for the Crown and the UK/Commonwealth? Nope. Did he mention that even Princess Anne, who is the hardest working member of the Royal Family does not have full time security? Nope. Nor does his and Meghan's good friend Princess Eugenie have full time security.

@charp You know Willy was photographed once inappropriately touching a woman. That's why they split in 07.royal family needs to piss off and go away. What would you do to stop a possible repeating of your mothers death? Id do anything. Harry and Meghan are awesome. It's you that's not listening. Hugs my dear one

@Binarydudette ROFL Is that the best you can come up with?
Inappropriate behavior? Harry was addicted to drugs and alchohol. Harry dress up as a Nazi for a costume party. Harry repeatedly got into brawls in bars and clubs. Harry was caught more than once referring to his non white fellow military personal with recail slurs.
Would you like me to continue?

@charp Yes please continue. The whole family are so awful. If Philip's not blabbering out some racist or sexist comment it's Anne or margaret and then Andrew loves f**king kids. The queen allows Epstein and Maxwell and even our number 1 pedo had regular visits. They would have done better keeping their original German surname. Can't wait for harry and sweet meghan to expose more. All those riches while your own people live either on bare minimum wage or are poor and homeless. Just another hat with too much unwarranted power

I thought it was good. There was no anger, no resentment and no taking of sides. Both Meghan and Harry were honest and not critical, and when Oprah asked a question and they weren't comfortable they politely didn't answer. I think that it is one of the better interviews given by a royal about royals. I found it believable and it coincides with so much of Diana's situation. I also think that the 'establishment' forced Harry and Meghan out; I don't think that Harry and Meghan left on their own accord. I think that this Oprah interview was done tastefully and with respect.

@00Dvora00 you have said the exact same thing that i was thinking, they all conducted themselves perfectly and you can see why oprah gets the big bucks, she knows just how far to push a question, harry backed up meg and it came across as genuine to me

@Curzie I thought so too. Harry clinched it for me. He seems so passionate about protecting his family; the opposite of how Charles protected Diana.

I watched the interview, not because I wanted too but because I thought ok I don't like these people, but I'll give them a chance and hear their side of the story, and wow!

Does Meghan like playing the victim or what, unbelievable how narrcasitic she is, and I can not believe she came out and said well it was Kate that made her cry. Far out talk about absolute betrayal, she had a lot of sh*t to say, but Kate was the only person she named, so no proof, evidence, or nothing.

The whole I wanted to die, I tried to get help but they wouldn't help me. Really? she couldn't get a psychologist to come and see her and do some counselling, sure. She makes it sound like she is the only one that has ever been depressed, and I think she used that against Harry, she probably told him, if we don't get out of this place I'll kill myself. Also Harry said the reason they left is because the palace refused to provide them Security, that is bs, that didn't happen until they stepped down as Royals. They don't get tax paid Security once they step down from their royal titles, and why should they. They have plenty of money, over 50 million, they could of paid for their own security, but no they expected the British tax payers to pay for it, even though they aren't Royals anymore or do any royal duties. Such self-entitled, arrogant twats.

@⋆☆Danielle☆⋆ Exacty. When she started talkign about asking the palace for help, I was thinking, if you know you need help, why can't you get it yourself? But then I loved when Harry later stated they didn't ask for help because he was "too embarassed" to ask for help. OMG ROFL!

And the drama about her stating it's ok to remove security from her and her infant son, but "not my husband
The entire violin section was playing at that moment. lol

The racism thing is really angering me, too. It just popped up recently. Riding on the uprising against racism after the murders of George Floyd and others angers me. I guess Harry forgot about the times he was caught referring to non white soldiers he served with in Afghanistan by racial slurs.
I guess while forgetting about that, he also forgot that this Great-Grandfather told the appartheid racists to bugger off and pinned the medals on black soldiers when he visted Africa after WWII.

@charp Interesting, that was some great insight you mentioned there.
Meghan also contradicts herself in this interview, Meghan said these conversations about the skin colour of their baby were had with Harry while she was pregnant with Archie, in tandem with conversations around his title and whether he would get security. However, when Oprah asked Harry about it later, he claimed it was raised right at the beginning of his relationship with Meghan, before they were even married.

Not sure they have really helped there situation with this interview.
They wanted to stay out of the limelight so why do this interview?
I don't really follow the Royal family and don't really have an opinion on them.
But to announce someone in the royal family questioned what colour skin a child would have, and then not say who said it strikes me as strange.
Most pregnant ladies have all sorts of stuff racing around in there heads so thinking about ending her life at one point is not that unusual.
For Harry to say his relationship with his (Dad) is strained or difficult with periods of not talking to each other.
Well it's not going to get any better now is it!
I think they have done themselves more harm doing this interview than good.
People love the royal family and I think Harry and Meghan might just have alienated themselves with some royal fans.

Personally I find it awful that the press in England just would not leave them alone.
And I was all for them stepping out of Royal duties for there own life.

@Rogereveryone I suspect that it was Charles who expressed his opinion over baby-to-be Archie's colouring.

@catsoumon I didn't use the word crazy at all. During pregnancy women suffer from lots of changes with hormones and body shape and size.
Not everyone has an easy pregnancy.

@Rogereveryone It needs to be done publicly. The way they have treated others is woeful and then when they do bad they hide like Philip and his sexist racist remarks and then there's Andrew. Ouch
What makes a royal a Royal? My educated guess is nothing

@Binarydudette I am not in anyway a royal fan, my knowledge of royalty and royal History is awful for an English man. Bloodline makes a Royal but nothing else nowdays.
They are only in the position they are in because we as a nation allow it. My earlier comments are aimed at the old saying you don't air your dirty washing in public. What can she or they change by saying what they have? Does it really help there situation? I am guessing it's more about publicity for her/them. The fact she did most of the interview alone without Harry doesn't show alot of support from Harry to me.
I could be reading it all wrong, it's only my thoughts.

God

I have never really liked meagan. Love prince harry over william any day, but meagan? No. I don't care for kate either though. Meagan reminds of the "bratty, narcissistic, make everything about me and play victim to get my way, passive aggressive" type of teenager . While kate reminds me of the "snobbish, entitled cry baby", but also the "get things done, respectful in general and of traditions and duties" type of woman. I mean c'mon. Meagan complains about their financial woes from the comfort of their 14 million dollar estate and convinced a groupie so much that she created a gofundme page to pay off the balance of their 14mil mortgage so that they, you know, could breathe a little and reduce stress and worry. Seriously?!?! I had read about that on an article of one of the times papers so Idk if that was part of this documentary as i haven't watched it yet. Still debating on it. They did raise a whopping $110 though. Hilarious. 🤷🤣😆

Apart from the content of this interview which I actually watched, unlike some of the people who didn't and yet felt compelled to comment, what strikes me the most are people's reactions to it.
So first of all it's a review section. Why comment if you haven't seen it? It's not useful or helpful. It's just an opinion you have about the people in the interview not about the actual interview.
Secondly, just because someone is rich and entitled does not mean they don't suffer, nor does it mean that compassion cannot be extended to them because of their privilege and affluence.
Once you strip away the titles, the money, the history, the privilege, it's just a really bad and sad family rift like any other, and family rifts hurt. They hurt everyone involved, including Charlie and the Queen. I liked the show as it showed yet again how hard it can be to fit in with the new in laws. Harder still if you're from a different culture and are of a different colour, and it's kind of a universally felt conflict. ...

I thought the questions could have been better, but giving the facts, it was well done overall. I do tend to believe Meghan, and her assertions of racism in the palace, and Harry backed that up with his own observations. That both were hammered by some useless pundit makes their views even better. Piers Morgan never has impressed me in any of his endeavors. He's always come across as thinking he's both better and smarter than everybody else. He ain't, and proved it. I fully enjoyed the interview.

Meghan is a liar like her father the devil. And I don't believe for one minute she has babies. Harry isn't man enough. Apart from that, she's probably not even a real female. Look close you can see she's a transvestite who with the help of Satan manages to trick Harry and the public. But when she walks she's bandy, as though she has something stuck up her poop-chute. They sell all sorts of so-called sex-toys on eBay and Amazon. Oprah should have probed her more deeply. For example Oprah could have made Meghan swear on a Bible that she's a true female. Mrs Obama had to swear on the Koran that she's really a woman. The public need to know for sure. So why didn't she make Meghan prove herself?

so well rehearsed never knew she could act so well i dont think half of what she said really happened and he is just a man in love doing what he thinks is right for his family i think he should never have been striped of his titles they are his by birth never mind all he has done in the army and for the royal family.

I'm only here for the movies, so my comments are tempered by that

1) "Royals"? OMG - the priviledge of I don't know what or whom deems them to be such...puke...let's not forget that they are gazillionaires....on he backs of the "British Empire"
2) I know, I'm insensitive... oh boo-hoo, my Mom died in a fiery crash. Respectfully (and I remember that day...) I hate to say it, but there are thousands of people literally who have been put in a similar to worse situation...suck it up Prince(ess)
3) Meghan was a below-average actress. I saw the first season of Suits and she distinguished herself... I remember, because it was not in a good way.
4) as a person of colour, I am offended by her. Pzzz off! Quit being a victim and let us get on with our lives - you do us no favours!!!!
