The Gecko brothers are fugitives, and are on the run after a very interesting bank robbery. They kidnap the Fuller family, and drive to a Mexican bar to meet with other on-the-run criminals. It turns out the crooks in the bar are vampires, and if the Gecko brothers and the Fuller family can survive from dusk until dawn, the "crooks" will let em' go. |

Have only seen this once all the way through about 20yrs ago. Have watched many times since but finish when they get to the titty twister, turns crap after that.

I'd read no reviews, had no idea what this was about. For the first half, I thought it was a fairly good movie about a couple of psychopaths, with Salma Hayek providing the eye candy. Then Cheech Marin got up off of the floor, and the story took a hard turn. I'm not a horror movie fan, but I liked this one. Maybe the cast. Juliette Lewis was, as usual, a work of art. Clooney was still wearing his Caesar haircut, and this was my acting introduction to Tarantino. The film changes so abruptly that you don't have time to thimk, you just absorb. It was kind of like being in a car crash. It was just an assault on your senses. Fast, and hard. THis stands out among all other vampire movies. Not another one like it anywhere. To copy it would be pointless. It couldn't be done any better. 8/10

Have to agree with `easygoin`s` review. Held my interest until 1:09, and sank faster that the Lusitania, except with more casualties. Saw it 22 years ago and still the same reaction now as then; Shine it!!! Turned juvenile after the time I mentioned, with the only saving grace being the special effects. As with the rest of Tarantino`s movies, they leave you at the end with a feeling of nausea and diarrhea, and this is no exception. No rating from me as I have to run to the toilet, and deposit a Tarantino. Also. the best link was `vev.io`. `Openload` links were buffering extreamly bad!!!
