RESIDENT ALIEN - SyFy Comedy - Reptilian POV

A reptilian alien is on a mission to drop a device that will create an extinction event and wipe out all life on earth when his craft is struck by lightning and crash lands in the mountains of Colorado near a small town. He comes across a remote cabin where a retired doctor is living and assumes his identity by shape-shifting.

The story is told from the Alien POV and it's a very funny series. It's well written with a great ensemble cast. Worth checking out

very funny! good storyline

A good adaptation of the comic series with some changes in the plot. I was waiting for the live series for a month now. The first episode is really good and can't wait for the next one too. The castings are perfect and also the humour definitely works. Had a great time watching. If you're into detective stuff, this will really intrigue you.

Looks like Sy Fy Channel is finally getting their groove back cause Resident Alien is playing out to be an awesome series! The cast is wonderful! Alan Tudyk is of course great as the lead and he has a great supporting cast! The writting is not only truely funny but also goes deeper, with serious and touching moments! Every episode has held my attention and leaving me wanting more! Can't wait to see where the story goes cause there is so many interesting stories going on. Give Resident Alien a watch and i know you will get hooked!

This is very, very good. A fantastic performance by Alan Tudyk who is supported by a great cast and script. Best comedy in a long time. The interactions between alien and kids are priceless. A great binge plan.

Resident Alien started out as a pretty good science fiction show but then turned into just another Woke dumpster fire.

RESIDENT ALIEN - Episode 6 - Linda Hamilton from Terminator joins cast as a Military Alien Hunter! - great casting and this series is great and very funny... Terminator fans - check it out!

I enjoy it so far. Alan tudyk plays his roles so well.

I'm fully up to date with this show finally. Alan Tudyk seems to really love these comic book character type roles which is great because he does great with them.

There's a couple big plot holes in this but I can't stop watching.

Who cares about plot holes anyway, the story must go on.

Hilarious show!! They have some good writers behind this show. It's funny AF, and the characters are multi faceted and likeable. They did great with the aliens appearance and design too. I've been binging since i first put it on last night. It's so good that i don't want to do nothing else except but watch this show. This is definitely worth the watch.

This show would be better if they'd tune down the melodrama B.S. Otherwise, it's not too bad, and it has a few laughs. It reminds me of People of Earth mixed with Diagnosis Murder.

Does anyone know when the rest of this season is due to land? Everything that I see online just tells me that it's going to happen some time this year but it doesn't say when. I'm loving it so far.

Started off great and midway it started a rapid decent to bad!
OK I first rated this a 9 but after the 9th episode I have down graded this to a 3. Was cute quirky show up until about episode 5 or 6 and then went down hill fast. It became overly predictable most of all with the gov't men in black which was a black man and psycho white woman who wanted to kill every one she comes in contact with. Pulling in Linda Hamilton to play their boss was just odd and her character was totally unrealistic as well. It looks like there will be a second season for this but I doubt if I was watch unless episode 10 somehow redeems this downward trend of this show!

I really liked this series but after season 3 - it's long in the tooth and each episode in the 3rd series is like watching a therapy session of all the people in this little town. (2nd season was divided into 2 releases - in effect - 2 seasons considering the amount of time between releases)

It could have been much better especially bringing in Linda Hamilton but - I guess they decided to go existential. Let's heal the alien and ourselves.. got an extra crystal?

Binge-watched this show, hopefully won't be too long before season two gets aired fingers crossed

Syfy really canceled a bunch of shows I enjoyed, such has Dark Matter, The Expanse (saved by Amazon), Helix, and Defiance. When I first heard of this series, I didn't think much of it. That was until I was told how funny it was. After the first episode, I was completely hooked. Alan Tudyk is hilarious and the relationships between him and Sara Tomko is excellent. She is a great actress and I'm glad she is in a popular series.

Heard they have been renewed, can't wait for season three, really digging it.

This is turning out to be one of the best new series I've seen this year! It is refreshing, funny and has enough twists in the plot to keep me wanting more! Alan Tudyk is incredible, his portrayal of the alien makes me believe he has little concept of being human. His forced smile and inappropriate laughter is hysterical, as is his fighting with human child, Max. I can't wait to see the season finale tonight! I hope this is renewed although I'm having a hard time imagining where the story will go.

Great to see this back love the show!.

Really enjoying this show, some great laughs, and the cast is great. Alan Tudyk actually got on my nerves in Firefly, but I think that was the writing’s fault, not his. He does a lot of good voice work in animated shows and films. He’s great as the self-centred alien bemused by human society.

first season was amazing, second one holds also hold up.

Better than I thought it would be. Funny and still has a storyline. It is hard not to root for the alien. I will watch whole first season and hope there are more to come.
