It's my interpretation this SCORPION Squad was crated to deal with major crime, gangs and drugs.
So why are they performing traffic stops? We're missing a lot of information.
Nothing can redeem these barbarians. Still, additional context is required.

I could heard of of the policeman say, "I hit him with straight haymakers dog," and then laughing. They sound more like street thugs then anyone of else I've heard. Prayers to Tyre and his family. This reminded me of George but the acts of violence were much worse. Shame on them. The boy didn't even do anything wrong. Not that that has anything to do with justifying police officers acting this way but it makes me angrier all the more. What a crying shame

Hearing Tyre call out for his mother was so soul wrenching that I burst out in tears, as many other viewers most likely did too. As a mother whose only son died tragically at 22, my heart aches for his mother and family, knowing the hell they are experiencing.
