Tell how your baby came to you as well!
Juno is our pit bull baby. We were at my husband's family cabin and driving down a dirt road when this thing ran out in front of us. We had just watched a show on chupracobras and I swear that's what we thought it was...I yelled look it's a baby chupracobra. She weighed maybe 3 lbs and had no hair on her tail, feet and ears. You could see every bone in her body. Vet said one more night she would have died. She threw up an acorn, as that was all she had eaten. We nursed her back to health and the rest is history. She doesn't like big open spaces today and she always wants under blankets.
My bohdi is a different story. My husband had been depressed and I said why don't we go to shelter and rescue you a dog for you to take care of. There was a man out front with bohdi on a leash. He said he couldn't handle him anymore and that if no one took him he was going to have him put to sleep rather than leaving him in a cage. Needless to say my husband said we are taking him!

2020 she was rescued from a rescue ‘group’ mid-pandemic... grasping for a companion for my dying service dog. I couldn’t lay on the floor and hold my beloved boy and he couldn’t climb or ramp up to my bed anymore. So heartbroken and panicky, I needed a mom-critter-energy to love on him when I couldn’t, “never alone”. The universe sent us a big heart in a smol pkg just in the nick of time too... ‘cuz she saved me after he died. Still is.
