In all fairness, I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of hardcore drama movies, and I didn't realize that this was a "Hallmark" movie. That being said, no wonder I was falling asleep and my mind was sporadically wondering off into dreamland. So my review doesn't really count, because I didn't give it a complete chance. It bored me to death, but that doesn't mean you won't like it just because I didn't. I managed to make it past 10 minutes though, that was quite the achievement. So, if you are a drama buff, and you like the "Hallmark" channel, then this movie may be for you. As for me, I think I'll pass and keep on searching for something a little more exciting to me. ENJOY

This is number six in a Hallmark TV-movie series based on the Jesse Stone character of Robert B. Parker's novels, nine total. Tom Selleck picks up the crime solving but this time he's a New England police chief. Instead of the free-wheeling, free-loving Magnum, P.I., he's a man trying to keep it together after a divorce from a woman he still loves in L.A. He's somber, compassionate, and withholding, depending on who he's talking to. This role really fits Selleck . . . or he understands Jesse very well. It's hand-in-glove here. I like the series. I wouldn't call this a chick flick, but it's definitely not for the ones looking for a peak experience. This is a pensive man learning to move on and doing some good along the way. 4/5
